Who cares if half of there side is coming from across the border.
What is the alternative for them? Where else are they meant to recruit from? Dwindling population for the last decade all the kids with any talent end up moving for a career. At some point they have to spend some $$ and try spark a bit of interest in the competition again.

Nothing negative was said about it just a fact was stated. How they gonna fit in all those guys into the player points used 39/46 few games last year, add in a VFL and SANFL player + 4-5 others out of adeliade

10 players worth more than 1 that all go down a point next season brings it to 29. Does still look hard to fit in but they would’ve thought about it i’d hope.

I love what they’re doing. Some exciting names into the comp! But I don’t think they’ve kept all the guys from last year either. What they’ve replaced them with is bloody quality though. Looking at the list yeah they won’t fit them all on points.

Was a Star and leauge medalist. Wrong side of 30 now and getting injuries. Still a very good player if lucky with injuries.

Think the warriors have signed two more guns that will be announced very soon.
Apparently one will challenge Williamson on how dominant they are.
Time will soon tell.

Where does Stawell get their money from? I would’ve thought they usually aren’t big spenders but seem to be blowing the cap outta the water this year.

I think a lot of locals have taken a fair pay cut to try grab a couple of A graders.
The recruits from swifts from what I gather just want to test them selfs out in a better league.
They do have a couple of wealthy locals that do dip some kind of money into recruiting.
Ash Driscoll will definitely play seniors if he wanted too. He might be happy to play 2s he’s got a bit older in the legs.

The numbers Warrack are throwing out I’ve never heard a wimmera club offer.. not even Thunder. Since changing the contracts and budget uploads to the portal afl vic can see what Every player is “ paid” at every club in every Leauge haha.

I think its more the sunraysia clubs going over too. I would think outside the sanfl, south Australia clubs dont pay that much and North Western clubs are blowing them out of the water as well as sanfl clubs

I think it was Donald that offered that. From what I heard with those ITK in the NCFL world Birchip threw six figures at Williamson.
