as for the post thing, im guessing the upstairs person simply didn't see anything questionable, and it seems like the umpires didn't say anything to him, and obviously the goal umpire thought it was fine, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Still pissing myself at BT & the rest of the flogs in the box swearing blind that ball hit the post - heres a tip - if the campaigners you work for broadcast the game you were watching in HD, you would have been able to see the ball hit sweet **** all!!

So much went right and wrong for that game.. much like our season.

The thing that stands out the most was Zach Merretts decision making right at the death. Most EFC players would have kept running.. been exhausted and kicked blindly forward for either a point or worse.. giving possession back to Adelaide and not altering the need for Adelaide to kick two goals. But stopping and going backwards, he maintained possession, which actually should have iced the game completely. Very very smart play from one of our smartest players (and he is a first year player!)...

Worst part.. we literally can not hold possession for more than 30 seconds when a game is on the line.. with under 2 minutes on the 'count down' clock.. we gave up possession three times.. three friggen chances for them to get back into the game.. and it the SAME stupid mistakes me made against Hawks and Melbourne (and Gold Coast in the NAB cup).. only difference was that Adelaide were not good enough to pounce. Still a MASSIVE concern for the team.

A win in the books and the season hangs in by a thread..

would have thought so. but the base penalties for low impact strikes are pretty low.

also dempseys best game for the season (note: ive missed a fair few games this season)

Yep, the bad umpiring was distributed nicely across everyone on the field...

Loved those 2 tackles on Dangerfield late in the game. First BJ grabs him by the scruff and throws him on the ground, and then Stants drags him to the ground when he was about to take off on a run. Well done.

There was absolutely no change in the rotation of the ball. There is no way you could have over ruled that.
