Not to get completely carried away because we did beat the second worst team last year.. BUT, I was really happy with our fitness. There is no surer sign of having superior fitness than coming back late in the first two quarters, then steamrolling the team in the second half. Either we're really fit or Carlton just hasn't done the work. Could be a long season for them if they can't run out a game. Good to see Raynesy find some form, Tambo winning his own ball, Cleve show some serious guts and to see Foley and Kingy carry on from last year.

Its a great feeling to watch the Tiges have a win and I have to agree, they did look fitter than the blues.

It's fair to say we still have a lot of work to do with disposal, which in my opinion has been our downfall for many years now.

We're still not going to challenge for the finals but if we continue to present and follow the lead of Richardson and King who both showed guts and tenacity, then we should see more wins this season than 07.
