Brent Prismall is a chance to make his senior debut for Essendon this week after being named in the Bombers’ squad of 25 ahead of their clash with Adelaide on Sunday.

The Bombers could make up to six changes to the side which was convincingly beaten by Geelong last week. Scott Lucas, Kyle Reimers, Courtenay Dempsey, Tyson Slattery and Darcy Daniher have also been named on the extended bench.
Henry Slattery (hamstring), Jason Winderlich (back) and Tom Bellchambers (knee) will all miss through injury.

Posted it also in changes.

Jay Neagle is playing FB and CHF!!!!!!!

One of those neagles is supposed to be Pears.

Prismall is in however which is a good positive and Dempsey is back too.

For those Reimers freaks. He has been named on the wing.

Says in the team selections part that its an ankle injury. Which one do you believe?????

Riemers, Prismall and Dempsey are in.

Who will make the interchange out of Houli, Lucas, Jetta, Skipworth, Slattery, Zaharakis, Daniher?

I'm guessing it is Houli, Zaharakis, Jetta and Skipworth.

Would like to see T Slattery get the nod over skipworth or jetta. Kid played pretty well in the NAB CUP i thought. Houli will stay. Jetta may be dropped but he may stay for the speed factor. Midfield has to be hard at the ball as ryder will be rucking most of the day

I'd say Daniher would play. With Slattery out and Hooker having to chop out in the ruck we need another defender.

I'd say Skipworth's out and Daniher's in.

I assume Winderlich's just pulling up sore from the match, it won't be anything serious.
Just making way for Reimers and Prismall ;)

"Unfortunately Jason Winderlich and Henry Slattery will both miss with injury this week. Henry will miss with a hamstring injury and Jason has a little bit of an irritation in his back. Luckily it is not linked to his previous injury, he just got a heavy knock a few weeks ago and is still just feeling the effects of that. We are fairly confident that both players will be available for selection next week.

Tom Bellchambers will miss this week with a knee injury. We initially thought it would be an ACL or a torn lateral medial but he’s come through pretty well and we think he’s only going to miss three to four weeks now. "

Nothing to be concerned with about Winda.

From the horse's mouth this one.

I think Adelaide are playing three tall forwards (?) so Jetta might be handy. Hopefully he can find the ball and use it.

I like the sound of Dempsey and Houli back as well.

By the looks of it McVeigh will be playing in Slattery's role this week which i think would be a good thing because he is such a good shut down defender and i don't think he quite has thr match fitness to play on the ball yet.

Tyson showed great pace and decision making skills during the NAB cup. I personally cant wait for him to make his debut.

REIMERS IS BACK! WOOOOT! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

winderlich was sore after that head high bump from coughlan - he did limited training last week and probably shouldn't have played. i was very concerned that spine rattling bump would stir up his back complaints and sure enough.......

interesting - coughlan hits winderlich high hurting him and gets nothing.

- lovett-murray shirtfronts pettifer and gets 3 weeks and pettifer ok. i guess the tribunal saw red...

Both the article and the team line up page on the EFC webiste state Winderlich's injury is an ankle. Souns more re-assuring.
Does that mean his injury is NOT infact back related?
Whatever the case, the injury doesn't sound serious. If it was, I'm sure their would have been a major article on the EFC + AFL website about it.

You're not seriously comparing the two are you? World of difference.

Not good news about Windy, but resting this week and then the split round should do him some good.
