Wireless Networking

ANyone have any experience in that area by chance, and can make any reccomendations for gear etc?

Would be very helpful, as looking for some new networking stuff right now.

Still using Ethernet 100mbps here. All cable. Any reason why you want wireless?

wireless would be great! just wander about the house with the laptop and still be connected to broadband ;-)

but I hear the transfer rate really drops off with distance, esp if there is a wall or three in the way. Also 11mbps is not that hot when transfering gigs of stuff from one machine to another. I have a 10/100 broadband router and it's doing quite nicely.. got a 20m cable for when I want to set up shop anywhere in the house too! It's a bit of a pain with cabling everywhere but still plenty usable.
