This from the FFC website:

Both Fremantle and West Coast Members will be allocated 50 percent of the seating at Subiaco Oval for the Wizard Cup match on Friday 18th February 2005 and Fremantle members have been allocated the city end of Subiaco Oval. Fremantle members can purchase their tickets from Ticketmaster7 by calling 1300 135 915 on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th January from 9.00am. Tickets are strictly limited to one per membership during this period and additional tickets for non members can be purchased when tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday 31st January

That should be interesting, although I wouldn't expect more than half the ground to be sold before the general public get a chance to buy tickets.

What a stupid rule - I would like to go with my mates who support the WCE but now half of us buy our tickets early in the week and the other (smarter) half later.

Well done ....if they cant handle a big event change ticket sellers.

I was hoping it would still be general admission and the above was just crap.. but alas no :(

Bought tickets on eagles memberships today, and its a properly ticketed game.

Just got my tickets with our membership cards. We were even able to request our exact home and away seats which was good.

The guy from TM7 said its selling very well already so expect a big crowd.

Agree with what Moo said though, they should of let both teams members book on the same day for those reasons he mentioned, but i suppose someone had to be second, and they thought your mob would be more accustomed to it.

I wouldn't be bragging too much about coming first. Especially so quickly.

I had an email somewhere that might help you overcome that problem. :)

Hey,

Does anyone know the cost of admission for an adult to see a Wizard Cup match at the Telstra Dome (i.e. Blues v Dons)?

Thanks in advance!

Don't talk to me about your peculiar reading habits. Weavil4Eva stated it quite plainly. We come second. All of us. After even the most frenetic activity, we come second. It's part of the charm.

Which reminds me. Why do the ladies love Greg Norman so much? Well, he can be on top for three days and still manage to come second.

Any thoughts on the winner playing in Darwin the next week ?

See, I reckon it's good that the next game is in Darwin. It makes it a win-win for everyone.

You win the derby - you feel great! Hey, even though it's only the Wizzer, any derby win is a good win!

You lose the derby - you can say.. bah it's only the Wizzer and why the hell would we want our players to play a game in Darwin's humidity? Better that we lost so we can concentrate on playing some scratch matches using the real rules!

See: win-win.

Losing to the weevils is NEVER good

Their evil and need to be driven back into the dark recesses of Subiaco !

Infact the dockers should have a annual exorcism and re-blessing of Subiaco prior to every season to cleanse the ground of the evil chardonnay slime.

Goodness- never said it was good, just that given the Darwin factor it is possible to create some positive justification for a loss (for both sides!).

And drive them back to the dark recesses of Subi...?? I think we can do better than that.

Given that they are "West Coast", and are therefore a one-size-fits-all-black-and-gold-brand-generic-representation of all of WA(other than the golden shores of Fremantle, as we have our own specific representation), I reckon let's send them to somewhere right on the coast... like Useless Loop or Beagle Bay for example.

Good point. One of the only matches where the loser will have a valid excuse :)

Got my tickets on friday, so I can't wait for the game.... even if it is the wizard cup. Does anyone have any idea when our intraclub match will be?
