Can't play 'em, Windows Media Player doesn't wanna know about 'em. Version 7 or 8 I think it is, I've got Windows 98 so couldn't run Version 9 when I downloaded it.

Tried downloading a few other players, keep getting the same problems.

The picture is just a huge blur of pink, orange, and green squares which whizz around aimlessly like you're watching someone walking through a house of mirrors with a Ken Done painting.

Any ideas, anyone ?

Darky you havent got many replies so Ill try and help you. :D

Can you run .wmv files on Quicktime? Maybe that will work?

Im not much of an expert in this area. Tomorrow Ill help you out when I can have a look at websites. (on 28.8k atm :()

Cheers mate. I'll re-install Quicktime and find out...

Previously tried Media Player, Real Player, and a few various DivX players, tried installing codecs and this & that...

I also get the same blur happening when I play back SOME mpg/mpeg files, but with wmv it happens all the time.

I think they used to work on a really old version of media player, version 3 or 4 or something? Tried re-downloading those a while back, but still couldn't get all the stuff to play properly.
