I reckon bryans best game would of been his debut game for carlton didnt he rack up a massive amount of disposals... Woods best game... has wood even had a best game?

Woods best game was against the Dogs last year

I lean towards bryan, but only just - his kicking indiscriminately is a worry. Woods' couple of out of bounds on the full in the preseason richmond game sealed it for me - he doesn't demonstrate presence at this stage of his career and can't hit targets - at least bryan has some presence and can kick to position..but both need to improve a lot to help josh out....hopefully they can both show improvement throughout this year and give us a viable second ruck option...

With regards to age of the two, isn't there more of an upside to Wood's game as opposed to Bryan's?

At the moment, Wood's only upside is age and potential.

Bryan has him covered in skill, determination, ruck ability and football ability.

It's a pity, because Wood has shown at times he has the ability to be ahead of Wood in all of those categories.

If I had to guess, Lachlan Keefe might be our no.2. ruck next year, and one of Wood and Bryan wont be at the pies next year, if not both.

Thanks. :thumbsu: Good thoughts.

You'd surely only move on one ruckman at a time, the Hawthorn game vs Sydney shows you need to have a few on your list in case of injuries.
