Got my TEE results back today and I am STOKED! :D For those who can understand it, I got a TER of 95.8 which relates to a score of 378.5 out of 510 or a top 4 subject average of 74%. Basically it means I can get into my Engineering/Commerce dbl degree course at UWA which I was a bit worried about cause the TER required was about 95.2 and I didn't think I would make it.

To eka, keep doing english lit mate!!! Throughout the whole year at school I only ever got two marks out of the sixties and finished the year with a school mark of 65%. In my TEE exam I got 73%, my highest mark for lit this year  with minimal studying (ie the night before) and after scaling and moderation on both my school marks and TEE marks I finished up with a score of 75.2 for lit!

To Eagle Fan/Maude, didn't do so well in my calculas exam. Got a raw mark of 56% (exam) and a final calculas mark of 64.9.

Anyway, on the whole, very happy!!! :D :)

too late mate:D
After much concideration,AND interviews with career councellor, eng lit teacher and year co-ordinator we all agreed it would PREOBABLY be better for me to do English next year, so i have changed into that. This means i have had to drop chem(which i did pretty well at though:() and take on history(which i was really good at in lower school). So I am currently doing a LOT of reading during the holidays about the course they did this year, so I can catch up.

Anyway CONGRATS VISRO, thats EXCELLENT results. I too am worried about getting my TER of 96.65(going up:( from 96.6 next year). But well done, 95.8 is a GREAT effort, and hearing your results, they sound a lot like mine this year, so hopefully i can carry on them next year and do a bit better even, and get my score of 96.65.
Glad to here you have got what you wanted.

Good work Visro!:)

Particularly pulling that 73 in Eng Lit - you must have been shovelling some heady stuff in your essays. Wish I could have done the same in my TEE.

Do you think BigFooty has helped you out with your Eng Lit skills? Maybe teachers and parents should let there kids spend more time goofing off on the net:D

Well done Vis! That's a fantastic score to get, you must be over the moon.

eagleskickass, I did English last year for TEE and got a fairly good score, if you ever need any advice or tips you can try me. (Although I may not be able to remember all those terms!)

Cheers GoEagles, I may take you up on that sometime

Congrats Vis! That's bloody fantastic! Now just relax and enjoy your holidays :D

That calc mark was still pretty good though :) Just having done it will make stuff so much easier next year.....

My brother got his results yesterday too.... little bugger did no work at all, crammed the day before each exam, and bloody well beat me  grrrrr... little brat! ;) Not that i'm bitter at all.....

Anyway, thats great news Vis (told ya ;)). Well done :)

EF :)

Well done Vis :)

EKA.......Chemistry swapped for History!!!!!!! Is that some kind of plan to ease the load? I mean IMO you are swapping a meaningful subject that can help a career for a weak one. I guess it depends upon what you want to do as a career!

I'll explain

I am doing Human Biology, Physics, Applicable Mathematics, History, English and Physed.
I refused to do 6 TEE, too much work
I was doing Eng Lit as My list 1 subject(you MUST do a List 1 and a List 2 subject:( ) and so if i was going to drop down to english(unlisted) i had to drop another subject and pick up a list 1.
Now the only subject i was doing that i didn't need to become a physio was chemistry, so that had to go, and of the list 1 subjects, History i think will be my best chance at doing well.
So yeah, if it wasn't for the bloody rule about listed subjects, i would have kept doing chem.
Agreed though, it will be a HUGE reduction in work:D which i hope will help.

Just some advice for eka.

The six subjects I did this year:

Calculas
Applicable Mathematics
Physics
Chemistry
English Lit
History

4 of those were forced on me (top 4) because of the requirements of engineering and I needed to do lit to pass high school. I only picked up History again this year (quit French) and didn't find it hard at all (good news eka) and it turned out to be my best subject (82%). Physics in yr 12 is much easier than yr 11. Applicable is also fairly easy. All in all, I think you should do well next year. Your subjects aren't terribly hard but you need to study heaps still. I slackened off a bit and had to rely on my TEE exams to pull me out of ****. Also, if a teacher's teaching method doesn't suit you, ignore them. Thats what I did in physics this year and it sure as hell worked. Anyway, hope some of that helps.

So you did 6, I am DEFINATELY not doing 6, but think with the subjects i am doing, i can do well.
So the History isn't hard GREAT:D, but is there much from the year 11 course in the TEE exams?

Cheers for that Vis, you have given me more confidence.;)

The year 12 history course is totally seperate from the year 11 course. I only picked up history for my final year and found it piss.

I picked up PLS (Politics and Legal Studies) in Year 12 and found that as easy as Freo finishing 16th in 2001. So if your school provides that course, I'd definately recommend it!

I did that subject in year 12!!
Biggest slack class i ever took, not to mention the teacher was a comedian :D

Surely you'd have to get at least a "B" for that class, assuming you didnt study ;)
