i have my resume on my fathers computer however i hate him and the computer hence the reason i spent $3000 to get my own. The point is to be able to actually apply for jobs when i search for them on seek on my laptop so yeh i will have to find it somewhere some aunty has got the copy we share i think.

Just make sure you don't go and illegally get a copy of office installed on your computer via a mate or acquaintance or down-the-road computer-repairer-person because they're really rare and loaded with danger.

Buying a legitimate copy of Office was the stupidest thing I have ever done.

I bought a legit copy of Office 2000, and then I installed it no worries first time. But I often format my hard drive and I would have to reinstall Office. Each time I had to reinstall I would have to ring up Microsoft to get a new installation ID number to unlock the package.

Each time I would ring up Microsoft to get these new ID numbers, I'd get one person who would refuse to give it to me, and others who would give it to me straight away.

What I used to do was just keep ringing them up and asking the same thing, until I got the answer I wanted.


...Moral of the story, don't buy legit MS software, it's more trouble than what it is worth!!!

well i got some dodgy nip copy from my supposed rich aunty and it wont install great
