I'm worried. We have 3 games to go and need to win pretty much all 3 to guarantee a spot in the 8. But what I'm worried about is that even if we do win the games, our percentage will let us down and we still can't make it. Is that a possibility? I can't be bothered doing the maths to work out...

yep even if we do win all 3 we can still miss out, if melbourne or north drop a game and we keep winning then thats when we should make it, but if they keep winning then i don't think we can make it from there cause our percentage is too poor!

Have a look at the last 3 teams the Hawks play, North being one of them. Obviously, if Hawthorn win all 3 they're guaranteed to make it.
You also play Geelong, who are 1 game ahead of you, but they play Freo in WA & Brisbane, so they'd be lucky to win another game.

We will win all three games so stop worrying. Richmond are too slow when they play hawthorn. North are without Anthony Stevens for the rest of the year and won't win without him. Geelong are too easy to beat.

Even if you make the finals, what do you guys think the chances are of Hawthorn doing well in the finals?
This is not a smart-alec comment from a Carlton supporter, just would like to know thoughts.

If they are playing well, I think we could beat anyone except Brisbane.
