Geonet mentioned this in another post- but did you'all see worsfold's chat to the players at 3 quarter time? Veins were bulging, fists were being ground into palms, the body language was direct, powerful, and he looked like he was really giving it to the lads. Then they came out and kicked six last quarter goals! Does anyone think there are a link to these two things?

I took special notice of this too, he look as though he was getting his point across without picking on individual players (ala Judgey)

i was seriously waiting for him to start throwing punches!:)
it's good to see that woosha understands that motivating the players is an important part of coaching.

Worsfold may not have the "games coached" as Judge has, but Worsfold has proved he is a better coach.......

Communication is a great coaching tool...pity KJ never had the respect to use it.....

Im sure a lot of people saw the way Worsfold addressed the players at 3/4 time , anyone see the resemblance to David Parkin's addresses? Maybe a little more controlled but you can definitely see the similarities.

There was definately a bit of 'get up and go' to Woosha during his 3 quarter address with the players. A bit more emotion than Ken Judge had with his bland, expressionless face. Maybe because Woosha knows more about the club and its history, or maybe because he cares and wants to get his message across to the players.

Sure Judge was bland and emotionless during his interviews with the media but 9 times out of 10 he was screaming at someone during the breaks the last couple of seasons, so I dont think Judge was lacking in getting his message across in that respect. The difference is the players respect Worsfold and are more likely to heed his words.

I'm 100% with you on that one Thrawn. Respect is the key.

The first thing I thought when I saw his address was "So much for him not giving a rat's if they win a pre-season game".
