Been done before.

We concluded that any trades the Chicago Bulls have done in the past 5 years, automatically qualify.

How about Grant Hill- Ben Wallace & Chucky Atkins

Hard to criticise Orlando for this one, even if it is a bit one sided now. Grant Hill was arguably the best player in the league when they pulled that trade.

Seattle have pulled a couple:

Draft day 1987: Drafted Scottie Pippen, traded him to the Bulls for Olden Polynice.

We also traded Maggette to Orlando, along with three expiring contracts, for Horace Grant, but this was done to enable us to get far enough under the cap to re-up GP. If we'd kept the pick it would have been used on William Avery :(

Rasheed-Strickland

Washington got some good years out of Rod Strickland.

On the Hill for Wallace/Atkins deal... casting injuries aside, keep in mind Chucky Atkins was a chip in the Rasheed Wallace deal. Dumars did quite nicely there.

Would've loved to see Hill and McGrady do their thing. Hanging out for McGrady, Okafor and Hill to do their thing in 04-05, despite the low probability of that occurring.

Not really a trade.

When the Jazz signed Gail Goodrich as a veteran Free-Agent, they were forced to compensate the Lakers. They gave the Lakers 3 draft picks, and because they finished last in 1978-79, one of picks was No 1 in 1979. Jazz got a veteran who lasted 3 more seasons (I think), Lakers won five Championships, played in four other NBA Finals and had the Greatest and Most Versitile PG on their roster.

But this one is.

Midway through the 1979-80 season, the Lakers traded Don Ford and a 1980 draft pick to Cleveland for Butch Lee and their 1982 selection. In 1981-82 Cleveland finished last and the Lakers again had No 1 pick. The first time in History the Defending Champs had first pick. Lakers picked up another Hall-of-Famer and one of the finest SF/PF in History.

T-Mac was sign and traded... he wanted to leave Toronto...they offered him a max extension if I remember and he turned it down because he wanted to be the 'man'.

Toronto got a couple of picks so you cant fault them.

People say we coulve had a team of Jamal, Mercer, Artest, Brand, Miller... we actually did have that team and it was one of the slowest, worst defensive and horrible shooting teams in the NBA. That team had 2 seasons together just about and got us the worst record.. woopi di do.
