This is a bit of a tough one!

If u go with conversions rate, Sydney easily.
But if u with the players quality and expirence, Carlton By a MILE!

Any thoughts?

My thought is that a "wort" is the start of a keg of home brew.....

"worst" forward line in the AFL,would have to be the Eagles, closely followed by our bunch of 4 goal wonders......

Dude our forwardline isn't looking that crash-hot either. we lost bradshaw for the season and brown got the yips on the weekend. we got no ammo to brag with.

Port Adelaide's. They're not much without Tredrea (Yes, I'm aware they beat us without Tredrea).

I dont think Adelaides is that bad... still managing to kick winning scores

Bock, Welsh, Stevens, Bode, Porplyzia, Perrie, Vince, Burton

to come in: Roo, McGregor

And fact is, it may not look that good on paper, but what happens on the ground is what matters and we have kicked more goals that our opposition 3/4 starts this year. I dont care how we do it, as long as we kick bigger scores than our opposition, i will be happy :thumbsu:

Worse forward lines:

Carlton (pretty much a one man band)
Roos
Tiges
Geelong
Hawks

Have to remember last year we were the 2nd highest scoring team in the comp. havent changed that much in 6 months....

Yeh true I guess. Tiges are definetly worse then your lot. Maybe Adelaide would be 3rd or 4th worse. Kangas are a clear winner though. Horrible forward line

2nd highest scoring team this year, only 12 points behind essendon

Chapman, Mooney, G Ablett
S Johnson, Ottens/Hawkins, N Ablett

have a think next time

This was the dees forward line as named last week.

Half forwards: C.Bruce, B.Miller, B.Pickett
Forwards: S.Godfrey, M.Jamar, A.Davey

Geelongs would have to be in the top 5.
Eagles and Crows the worst.

And who did you score most of your points against???

You couldnt even kick a winning score against Hawthorn's defense

Can't be that great

Being the 2nd highest scoring team after 4 games and gloating about it just smells of premature ejaculation, come see me at the end of the year and if you're still up there, then we'll talk. Typical Geelong supporter

Ha, Eagles and Crows were 2 of the highest scoring teams last year. Any team that gets the flag has to have some sort of forward line and the Crows were the 2nd highest scoring team.

There are plenty worse than these 2 clubs. On PAPER Eagles and Crows may not look good, but what happens in the game is what counts and Eagles are 4-0 and Crows are 3-1 and kicking the scores needed. You couldnt kick more than Hawthorn. haha.

Adelaide's is actually one of the better ones in the competition, which is surprising given our lack of a superstar up there.
We've got more players who have kicked 30+ goals in the last 2 seasons playing in our forward line than any other team.
Hentschel
Roo
Burton
Welsh
Perrie
McGregor
Bode
Have all had seasons where they've scored between 30 and 58 goals in the last 2 seasons.
Add in Bock, who has proved to be handy, averaging 2.3 goals this year, and Scotty Stevens when we need him, and it's as potent as any other teams, and probably has more genuine options than most.
At the moment, our top 2 goalkickers from last season are missing, yet we're still putting a winning score on the board.
We've also been missing Bode, who is, statistically, the number one defensive forward in the competition (more forward 50 tackles than any other player last year etc).
Basically, our forward line gets a lot of shit because it contains unfashionable players like Perrie, Welsh and McGregor, but all these players have proven they can kick goals when we need them to. The 3 of them combined for 128 goals in 2005. It's having all these capable goalkickers which makes our forward line one of the hardest to match up on. We've got so many options up there.

The Swans are the worst atm but they will climb up there as the season goes.

Based on talent levels the Bloods have the best. Conversion is letting them down at the moment, but talent always prevails and we are a cut about the rest. 2 AA's in Hall and O'Keefe as well as Davis and O'Loughlin who can cut open a game on their day.

What About Lions in:
Sherman Brown Brennan
McGrath Bradshaw Johnson

Brennan and Johnson aren't fowards. And any foward line that has Brown backed up by a fit Bradshaw is nowhere near the worst, plus Sherman is a terrific player and McGrath a good crumber.

Eagles easily have the worst foward line.
