For me it is a bit like how would you rather die, by drowning or falling off a cliff, neither option is really an acceptable choice.

If I had to choose I would go with no merge but rather we absorb another club, keep our name, use their mascot & play at the G.

Sadly I think it's a lot more than just getting a few gigs on the Footy Show. Look at Robbo. He's on telly every weekend on the singing show.

Garry's said numerous times that he doesn't think he has the people skills (or the required skills, anyway) to do the job JB has done for North. Now, I don't know Garry personally, so I can't say whether this is true or not. The bottom line is that he doesn't want to do it.

The best hope for this club is to start winning some games.

Gary Lyon milks his ex player status as MFC's favourite son for all its worth to help with his media credibility stakes. I don't think he's particularly all that interested in the MFC to involve himself in all but a superficial level.
