Cena spends a few months dodging and screwing over Orton and they have a big match down the line.

Makes no sense to have two of the goat face off at backlash in a one and done program together. Especially given cena is hanging up the boots

Backlash seems like the worst thrown together card with no effort. The last 2 or 3 promos Cenas done have finished the same which hasn’t built any excitement for me. Wow the last one a decoy was sacrificed to an AA which looked nothing like Orton then once again he rkos cena.. so predictable.

Gunther and Pat.. what is the deal with this match honestly another gap filler. Gunther’s whole angle for wrestlemania was Jey uso wasn’t on his level so he didn’t want to fight him, but now he will fight Pat McAfee no issues?? Come on, pathetic.

Lyra and Becky, another crap thrown together match. Becky returns at wrestlemania to team with Lyra all to turn on her a day later then drop a couple of trash promos to have this Match.

It just seems like a really bad PLE. Is it because this years wrestlemania wasn’t good so they don’t have many storyline’s coming out of it and are trying to form new ones?

Cena/Orton has no benefit of being a multiple match program; especially in Cena’s final year.

Orton is only the challenger because it’s in his hometown, and it’s a nostalgia hit.

There’s a higher chance that Orton turns heel & aligns with Cena/Rock/Scott than gets a second title shot.

The only rematch Cena will have in this stint will be the eventual Cody match; everything else will be 1 and done.
