News in exclusively on WWE.com Trent Patience has been traded to Smackdown for Colin Colon who is relocating to Raw. Although Vitamin C have a tag team title shot clause Colon will be required to form a tag team with the original Vitamin C tag team member, Diamond Brett Healy. Tune in this week on Raw to see how this new tag team pans out.

Well, someone's gotta announce it so I guess I might as well do it:
I will be writing the Smackdown shows :D. Not keeping this in storyline as I don't want to align myself with a character, but thought everyone should know.
The next episode of WWE Smackdown will be posted tomorrow night at 8.30 p.m :D:D

WWE Smackdown – 3/1/08 (Episode 3)​
*The fireworks light up the arena as White Knuckles by Alter Bridge, the theme song for Smackdown, blares over the sound system*

 Cole: Welcome to Smackdown! We're here in Charlotte, North Carolina, and JBL is here with me at ringside. John, what did you think of the phone conversation our GM Shane McMahon had after the show last week?
JBL: It was interesting, it posed a lot of questions, and hopefully they can be answered tonight.

*Here Comes The Money*

 Cole: Well, we won't have to wait long to find out; our GM is making his way to the ring! The crowd is eagerly anticipating what Shane McMahon is going to say, so let's make our way to the ring.

Shane: After last week's show, I had a phone call with a friend of mine, and we have planned a massive main event for tonight's show. It's going to be a number one contenders match for the World Heavyweight Championship! But that's not all. A match of this magnitude can't be decided in a normal singles match, oh no. It's going to be...wait for it...a Hell In A Cell match!
Yeah, everyone seems to like that hey? Well, I hope you enjoy the match and....hang on a minute, I haven't told you the participants! How stupid of your General Manager. It's going to be two wrestlers making their brand debut: Sean v Trent Patience! Have a good night!

*As McMahon starts to leave the ring, James Cann's music hits (Stricken by Disturbed) and he makes his way to the ring, becoming angrier the closer he gets to the GM*

 Cann: Hey! Did you forget about me!? Look at what I did last week; I single handedly destroyed Tommy Dreamer and put him out of action...permanently. And now you're giving two new wrestlers a number 1 contenders match? Listen, if you don't want to end up the same way as Dreamer, you better put me in that match.
Shane: Woah, easy tough guy, that's not the way to speak to your GM. But, I will give you your due, you were very impressive last week. So, in the interest of competition, I'm adding you to the match tonight. It's going to be a triple threat match. Now, I've been standing in the ring long enough, let's get this show on the road!

*Commercial Break*

 Cole: Back from commercial break here in Charlotte, and we have a hell of a main event tonight. But that's later on, and right now we have a non-title match between Adman and Rey Mysterio. Last week, Matt Hardy inexplicably came out of nowhere and accepted a challenge for the Cruiserweight Title on Adman's behalf. We have word that Adman is still over the 220 pound weight limit and it might take a couple more weeks for him to drop under that weight. In the meantime, let's enjoy the match.

Match 1: Rey Mysterio v Adman (non-title)
Before the match, Mysterio shoves his title in Adman's face, drawing the ire of the crowd. Adman retaliates by nailing Mysterio with a hard right and he takes the advantage. Adman proceeds to nail all of Rey's signature moves, embarrassing Mysterio, and delighting the crowd. After hitting the seated senton, Adman climbs to the top rope to attempt the Swanton. While is climbing, Mysterio suddenly springs to his feet and jumps onto the top rope. Adman and Rey battle on the top rope and Rey has Adman in position for the hurrancarana. As he attempts to flip Adman over, Adman pulls Rey back up, and somehow hits an amazing Twist of Fate off the top rope! Adman crawls over on top of Rey and covers him for the 1,2,3.
Winner: Adman via pinfall

*Commercial Break*

 JBL: Shutup Cole, I want to talk now. Well, we're back from commercial break here in Charlotte, and we just saw a ripper of a match with an awesome ending to boot. And coming up next...
*Viva La Raza*
Cole: Looks like you've been interrupted John. Eddie Guerrero is making his way to the ring; last week we saw him having dinner with a seemingly disgruntled Chris Benoit.

Eddie: Orale Charlotte! Last week, esses, myself and my mamacita Vicky were at dinner with my friend Chris Benoit and his wife Nancy. While we were eating away, downing the food, you know how it is at an all you can eat homes...I looked over and saw Chris with his head down, not saying anything, tuned out from everyone else at the table. That bothered me, because he's my friend, and I want to know what's wrong with him. So Chris, esse, please come out here and tell me what's up.

*'Whatever' by Our Lady Peace hits as Benoit makes his way to the ring with a downcast expression on his face*

 Eddie: Chris, what's up esse? Talk to me
Chris: Eddie, what I want to tell you can't be said out here in public. Wait till after the show tonight and I'll tell you then.
Eddie: C'mon man, I don't want rumours spreading around about us, you know how some people are, they run to their computer, they say stuff that isn't true, and then people believe it. You either tell me in public, or not at all.
Chris: I can't do it Eddie, I really can't. You have to wait.
Eddie: Alright, esse, how about this. You and me have a match at the Royal Rumble for my United States Title. If I win, you tell me what's wrong. If you win, you don't have to tell me what's going on, and we forget this conversation ever happened. Deal?
Chris: Alright man. Now c'mon, I want you to show me your new lowrider. Let's go.

*Chris and Eddie leave the ring together*

 Cole: Well, that was an interesting conversation, and we have our first confirmed Smackdown match for the Royal Rumble. Next up, is a Tag Team Title match between the World's Greatest Tag Team and the FBI. This match was actually scheduled for last week, but Shelton Benjamin delayed it till next week on the proviso that the FBI could beat Mark Henry and Nathan Jones. Well Chuck Palumbo did that in quick time, so we have the title match coming up next!

*Commercial Break*

 Match 2: WGTT (Benjamin & Haas) v FBI (Palumbo & Stamboli) for the World Tag Team Titles
Benjamin and Stamboli circle each other to begin the match. Shelton looks intimidated by the size of Stamboli and backs off to tag Haas in. However, Haas is still doing his squats outside and doesn't realise Benjamin in the corner. Realising he is temporarily on his own, Shelton flails his fists backwards, not sure how close Stamboli is. Johnny anticipates the fists, blocks the punches and nails Shelton with a sit-out powerbomb. Stamboli goes for the quick pin but Benjamin manages to kick out at 2. Haas, seeing that his team is in trouble, tries to distract Palumbo, who has now been tagged in. The starjumps on the apron seems to attract Palumbo's attention, who turns and looks at Haas with a quizzical look. When Chuck turns around, he is met with a wicked fly kick from Shelton which drops him to the mat. Benjamin manages to make his way to Haas and subsequently tags him in. Charlie uses his wide variety of submission moves to inflict massive amounts of pain on Palumbo's legs. The crowd grows restless as the match seems to be slipping further away from the FBI. Stamboli manages to rally the audience, getting them chanting FBI! FBI! The noise seems to inspire Palumbo, and he digs down for one last, desperate effort. He manages to free himself from Haas's submission hold and tags Stamboli in. Johnny runs wild, dismantling Benjamin and Haas with repeated clotheslines and other high impact maneuvres. Stamboli charges at Haas, clotheslining himself and Haas outside the ring, where they lie recovering from the fall. This leaves Palumbo and Benjamin alone in the ring. Shelton, realising there is no-one to help him, helplessly looks up at Palumbo. Chuck smiles, lowering his guard for a moment. Suddenly, Haas comes from behind and nails Palumbo with an inverted neckbreaker. Haas covers...1...2..th...no Chuck kicks out! With Stamboli still on the outside, Benjamin sets Palumbo up for the t-bone. He hits it, and crawls across for the cover. 1...2...Chuck kicks out again! Benjamin and Haas are frustrated beyond belief as they decide on their next course of action. Haas decides to lock in the Haas of Pain and Palumbo seems to be on the verge of passing out. Just as Chuck appears ready to tap, Stamboli makes his way back into the ring and breaks up the hold. That's all he manages to do though, as Benjamin nails a missile dropkick that sends Johnny hurtling over the top rope back to the floor. Palumbo sees his opportunity to take out Shelton and pushes Benjamin off the top rope so hard that he lands in the crowd! The crowd, roaring in anticipation, alert Chuck to Haas creeping up behind him. Palumbo turns around in the nick of time, and ducks under Haas' right hand. He lifts Haas up for the Full Throttle and is about to send Charlie crashing to the mat when suddenly Haas reverses into a rollup! The referee starts his count...1......2............3!!
Winner and still Tag Team Champions: WGTT via pinfall

*After the match, WGTT celebrate on the ramp while the FBI look on, stunned, in the middle of the ring*

 Cole: Wow! What a match we just witnessed; that has to be the best match the WWE has ever seen!
JBL: Easy Cole, it's only been 3 weeks since we started, but that was definitely an amazing match.

*Commercial Break*

 Cole: As something to calm the fans back down after that incredible match, we have our first Womens Match! It will be between Sable and Miss Jackie, and hopefully the fans enjoy it.

Match 3: Sable v Miss Jackie
Sable plays to the crowd early by teasing a strip down to her bra and panties. While the males in the audience seem to enjoy it, it leaves Jackie in the ring alone infuriated by the lack of respect shown. Jackie attacks Sable from behind and hits a bulldog. The veteran Sable doesn't seem to recover as Jackie nails a DDT, then a kick to the side of the head to send Sable falling to the ground. Jackie then locks on a rarely seen submission hold, somehow twisting Sable's leg so it is almost parallel to her head! Sable quickly taps out.
Winner: Miss Jackie via pinfall

*Sirens mysteriously wail around the arena before the commercial break*

 *Commercial Break*

Cole: Back from commercial break, and we have Tristagi standing by backstage.

Tristagi: Tonight there will be a triple threat match to determine the Number 1 contender to Tristagi's World Heavyweight Championship. Now, a lot of you might be wondering why Tristagi am wearing a referee shirt...the answer to that should be obvious to the few jabronis amongst Tristagi's millions....and millions of fans. Tristagi is going to be the special referee for this blockbuster main event. It provides me with a perfect opportunity to scout my potential opponent for the Royal Rumble. I'll call it straight down the middle, unless one person in particular is involved. I don't like this person, and tonight, whether it's during, or after the match, people are going to find out who it is.

*Commercial Break*

 Match 4: Sean v Trent Patience v James Cann; No 1 Contenders Match; Hell in a Cell; Special Ref: Tristagi
As the cell comes down, all three participants look enviously at the World Heavyweight Championship, which Tristagi hands to a ringside official. The bell rings to start the match, and Sean and Patience run straight at Cann, trying to take him out of the match early.

Cole: Smart thinking from Sean and Patience there. Cann can be sadistic and taking him out early seems like the logical thing to do.

Patience hurls Cann into the cell, leaving Cann in a crumpled mess outside. Tristagi seems to nod in approval at Cann's state, earning a sideways quizzical glance from Patience. Sean comes from the outside and hits Trent with a inverted DDT. He attempts the pinfall...1....2.a short two count as Patience easily kicks out. In frustration Sean goes to the top rope and nails a uncharacteristic splash which draws another nod from Tristagi, confusing Sean. He quickly goes for the cover anyway...1...2....Patience again kicks out, but not as easily as before. Sean waits for Patience to get up as he readies himself to deliver a spear. Out of nowhere Cann pops up with a steel chair and smashes it over Sean's head, instantly making blood pour from his face.

Cole: Another demonstration of the wicked mean streak that Cann has in him.

Tristagi again nods in approval at the chair shot, leaving everyone confused to his pre-match comments, as he then said he dislikes one participant, but has now given nods of approval when each wrestler has been knocked down. Cann hooks the leg of Patience but before Tristagi can begin his count, Sean breaks it up with a low drop kick to Cann. Sean follows it up with a slow spinning neckbreaker which accentuates the impact on the head and neck area of Cann. Not satisfied with the move, Sean jumps to the outside and rummages under the ring. He brings out another chair to compliment the other one already in the ring. The crowd realises what he is attempting to do and rise as one. Before Sean can get back in the ring, Patience suddenly flies off the top rope and hits Sean with a dropkick off the top rope, sending him crashing against the cell. Tristagi is joyous in the ring as he realises the winner has to face him while still recovering from this match. By this time, all three participants are on their last legs as they have received heavy punishment. Cann, still in the ring, readies himself as Patience slides in. Just as Patience signals for his finisher, Cann suddenly springs up and attempts an CKO! But Trent escapes and whips Cann against the ropes, Cann comes back and ducks under a high knee from Patience...Patience turns around and CKO! No! Patience gets out of it and goes for his double knee facebuster! He hits it...no wait! Cann has caught his legs and Trent is lying on the ground...Cann locks in the Walls of Jericho! Cann applies the pressure...Patience wriggles out and reverses into a rollup! 1...2........Cann kicks out!! They both rush to their feet and CKO!!! Cann finally hits the CKO...1.........2..........3!! James Cann is the new no.1 contender!

Cole: What an amazing match: we might have just witnessed the best match in history!
JBL: God, you exaggerate..hey look!

*Tristagi raises Cann's hand as the winner of the match. Suddenly Cann nails a sick CKO on Tristagi on one of the chairs still lying in the ring. Tristagi is busted wide open as Cann stands over him, motioning that the WHC will soon be around his waist.....

Episode 3 from Louisville, Kentucky

J.R: Hello everybody this is J.R and with me is my broadcast partner Jerry "The King" Lawler we have a great main event for you tonight. HHH & Booker T vs TJ Master & Kurt Angle.

The King: That's right J.R it's champions verse challengers. I can't wait for it I am so excited.

J.R: Hold your horses King we have other great matches to get through too
including the debut of Colin Colon which is next

Colin Colon w/ Diamond Brett Healy vs Renee Dupree w/ Sylvian Grenier

Colon makes his way to the ring first with Healy following behind. Colon waves to the fans while Healy looks disgruntled. He comes out to the Puerto rican anthem. Colon walks into the ring and starts to talk into the mich:

"Hi my name is Colin Colon. I like USA but Puerto Rico is better. (crowd boos) hey it's true but tonight I will be wrestling for my country and for you guys" (In the background Healy rolls his eyes and pretends to be friendly to Colon). Rene Dupree makes his way to the ring and the crowd gives him and slyvian massive boos. Grenier is waving the french flag behind Dupree.

Match Overview: The match is an entertaining tussle with both wrestlers getting in good maneuvers. Colon gains a lot of confidence and drive through out the match as he reverses Dupree moves including his finisher the minchikou driver. Colon does hit his finisher though The P.R.P (Puerto Rican Punisher/ Rolling neckbreaker) but Grenier distracts the ref. Dupree hits the low blow and gets the cover.

J.R: Damn Dupree that was cheating plain and simple how could ref let him get away with that.

King: If the ref doesn't see it's not Illegal J.R you should know it refs make mistakes and so you should stop whining

J.R: King just shut up and commentate

King: Fine than I will

Backstage: RVD with Dimension

Dimension: Hey Rob thanks for last week you really saved my ass

RVD: hey relax no problem kiddo Ladies Man got what was coming to him.

Dimension: Hey about Matt Hardy careful his a slippery character even though me and Ladies Man are banned from ringside tonight just watch for him. Anyways good luck.

J.R: RVD vs Matt Hardy is next!!!

RVD vs Matt Hardy

RVD music hits and the crowd cheer loudly. RVD does his ring routine and eagerly awaits Hardy. Hardy's music hits and people boo on the TV screen shows the mattitude website and a fact which "Matt Hardy sleeps naked"

Match Overview: Very entertaining match that saw a true display of athleticism (RVD) and tenacity (Hardy). The match swung back and forth. Matt was very agressive using the ring ropes and including the steel ring steps. RVD used his quickness to wear down his opponent and shows off his signature moves such as Rolling Thunder and split legged moonsault. The Match ended with Hardy attempting a twist fate on the top rope which was reversed by RVD who Suplexed Hardy off the ropes. RVD scrambled to ropes and hit the Five Star Frog Splash.

Womens Championship match Molly Holly vs Lita
after the ad break the 2 competitors are already in the ring

Overview: a very competitive match. Molly Holly is unforgiving and doesn't relent on Lita. But this didn't stop Lita from becoming the NEW Womens Champion. The match was finished by a lovely hurracarana pin. Molly Holly though she had Lita's number and set her up for The Molly Bomb but unbeknown to her Lita hadn't give up fighting. Lita reversed the Molly Bomb with a dire straits hurracarana pin.

J.R: I can't believe it a new womens champion

King: J.R who cares who's as long as I keep seeing puppies it doesn't bother me who wins or loses.

J.R: Oh stop it King hold in your urges

King: J.R don't you enjoy diva matches

J.R: king of course I do but not to the extent you do

J.R: Anyway guys coming up HHH & Booker T vs TJ Master & Angle

AD Break and a look at all the Royal Rumble matches

HHH & Booker T vs TJ Master & Angle

Overview: The was a tussle alright and Booker T and Angle started the match. Ar one stage it look like HHH & Booker T had the win for sure until TJ hit the ring. The crowd awoke and frantically cheered for their hero TJ Master. TJ got the win but it wasn't easy. The Pedigree was in full swing but HHH just couldn't seem to hit it and every pin fall was broken at the count of 2. The opening came for TJ when Booker T and Angle scuffled outside. HHH was bewildered and most certainly caught off guard when out of nowhere the TJ Driver landed smack bang right in the middle of the ring.

J.R: OMG! Master has done it again one more win and he'll be wearing the gold

King: Pftt this guy is just lucky wait till he faces the real the game at the Royal Rumble.

J.R: Luck? how could you say that King it's obvious TJ has HHH number.

King: Wait and See HHH we'll remain champ just wait and see

J.R: Alright King I will. This Sunday is the Royal Rumble Do not miss it order it on pay-per view now. Good night everybody!!!
 
For everyone that doesn't know already, the Royal Rumble will be in its own thread, and it will take place this Sunday night at 8.30.
