****ing lol.

Based on that it isn't just the show that has lost all credibility. Not that it had any to begin with.

Heaps of people voted on that occasion who don't usually vote. I often come across others who have only ever voted once, and it was also for Casey Donovon, as others, like me, were petrified of the thought of Anthony Callea being the Australian Idol.

Why was that time any different?

It was a whale vs a midget.

Casey Donovan hasn't been heard of since. I'm sure she's been seen though.

If anything that Callea ******* has had more success.

Callea would get way more dudes than Casey that's for sure...............................no homo

What a disgraceful publicity stunt. This brings back memories of when Ricki-Lee left series two of Australian Idol when it was the Final Eight.

The show loses all credibility for mine now. Since when should a public vote decide who gets through? Sort of defeats the purpose when someone can vote 2000 times. I once voted seventeen times for Casey Donovon to beat Anthony Callea in the Final of Australian Idol. It only charged me 55 cents to do so. I guess my prepaid provider had to fork out the other $8.80 worth of votes, because I only had 60 cents worth of credit left and I basically had unlimited messages for a few minutes before my account registered that I had run out of credit.

I'm guessing the same thing happens to others. No other logical reason to explain how a thirteen-year-old girl can continue to afford voting for Johnny.

I'd like to see a change in how the voting works. Could either:

1. The judges pick the bottom 2 and then the public vote on which one they want gone.

2. There is still a public vote like they do now, but the judges pick the bottom 2 and then it's down to who has the least votes out of the bottom 2.

Christina did deserve to go with he past performances. Same applies for Johnny as well. I really don't see the big outcry here but she was terrible in her last performance

Everybody knows that the public votes and certain demographics vote for ..... so get over the outrage. jeepers it is forgotten quickly just like many of the contestants. But full marks to them for having a go. Think reece will win from here

The voting off format should work.

It broke down when Johnny was in the bottom 2 and the judges didn't vote him off.

I am watching the XFactor UK via Youtube as well. Whoever mentioned Craig Colton a few pages ago was right. He has a sensational voice.

Doubt there would be too many guys that can pull off an Adele song.

This show does a really good job of getting rid of anyone who is somewhat decent.

Can't believe some people are still there and others have gone.

Of course, it doesn't really matter. I don't get the overall point of these shows as the winner will always put out a debut single/album, be spoken about for a few months, then drift off into obscurity never to be heard of again, unless they are called back for a live performance next year or made participate in some crappy reality TV show as a 'celebrity'.

The two most successful artists found from these shows have been Guy and Noll. Whatever happened to the weird dude who won it last year, the fat chick or the Irish dude who won idol? What's the point of going through all of this if these people become nobodies.

I laugh when the judges talk about who will sell records and praise them up like they'll be a star someday. Everyone there and at home knows that nobody on that show will be anything more than a passing few month fad, before becoming as irrelevant as those who have preceded them.

Don't forget that lee harding who sang that song about wassabi lol.
I agree with your last paragraph. Its funny how they say there going to be the next world sensation. Especially when there's only ever been like a handful of true Australia world star bands/singers.

Johnny was good, best on the night

Andew good.

Declan... I don't know, his voice seems too weak to me even when it sounds good, not sure why they don't mention it. It doesn't rise and fall with the demands of the song.

3 Wishes, more of the same from them, not bad.

Reece, he did look pissed and the soft start didn't suit his voice, he brought it home well though, the veins popping out of his head made up for a poor start.

Reece really wasn't that bad...don't know where the judges were coming from

They're either a) threatened that he will win the competition and want to protect their own or b) it's reverse psychology - ripping into him so the public votes for him in sympathy to prevent him being bottom 2 again.

Either way they judges lost a lot of credibility and respect last night.

Gee they must not have much left!

Johnny Ruffo and Andrew were the best 2. Worst was Reece and 3 wishes. But i think Declan will go

I would think that Declan will be in the bottom 2 but I can't see him going unless he is against Reece.

If Johnny is in bottom 2 I reckon the judges will vote him out even though he sung OK last night.

Declan vs Johnny - Johnny out

Declan vs Andrew - I reckon that it would be a 2-2 split vote

Declan vs Reece - Reece would get through

Declan vs 3 Wishes - I reckon they would vote 3 Wishes out

Johnny vs 3 Wishes - Johnny out

Johnny vs Andrew - Johnny Out

Johnny vs Reece - Johnny Out

Andrew vs 3 Wishes - 3 Wishes Out

Reece vs Andrew - Andrew out

Do the agencies know who has received votes?

I can't believe Johnny, according to sportsbet, is the least likely to be eliminated tonight. He is a $7 chance. In normal circumstances, I'd jump all over this, because I believe all that has to happen is for him to reach the bottom two and the judges should make the correct call. Even if he is up against Declan, I feel Guy will send Johnny home.

But I just can't bring myself to betting on something that could be fixed.
