Armfield Vs Browne
Armfield. We need a defensive small with extreme speed who can play on the likes of Leon Davis, Aaron Davey, Alwyn Davey, et al. Coming from his rugby background he's also very dfensive minded and never lets a tackle slip. Browne has plenty of potential and will continue to get better, but at the moment if i had a choice it'd be Armfield. I'd say in future both will be apart of the starting 22.
Hampson Vs Jacobs
Hampson. Has the speed and mobility and did quite well on Sunday in the hitouts. Has the ability to be played up forward and move around the ground whereas Jacobs is more or less just utilised in the tapout department (which I must say has been quite good throughout the NAB cup). With Warnock a possibility to make his way back by the time round 1 starts however, I'm doubting whether Jacobs won't be essential (Warnock, Hampson, Cloke, Kreuzer is more than enough ruckman and there's plenty of other candidates to considder elevating).
Betts Vs Garlett
Both. I think this should be more Garlett Vs Yarran at the moment (for round 1 at least). Personally I'd have both of these two in the side round one, easily.
Fisher Vs Wiggins
Fisher easily. Fisher has the potential to kick 30-40+ goals in a season and that by far outweighs anything Wiggins has ever contributed in any one season. People forget the kicking accuracy Fisher had in 07, and with a hand injury hampering him for the majority of last year, I'd imagine it would have been difficult at the best of times to stick those marks. Even in a bad year, Fisher was still one of the highest contributers behind Fev. With Walker likely to play more as a forward this year, I'm doubting Wiggins will get anywhere near the amount of games he got in 08.
