First of all you need it to be chipped. Second of all, the HDD that the xbox comes with is only a 10GIG, which only has about 8GIGS of room on it. So you can store maybe 3 or 4 games, depending on there size.

We currently have about 80 games on our HDD, it's awesome. Great for the lazy people like myself. :D

I cant even fit 1 game on my Xbox. To be able to fit 80 games on it you must have bought a bigger HDD. How much did that set you back and where did you get it done?

I had mine done and it cost $110 for the chameleon chip with software (and all these emulator games and the media player and that) and also upgraded the hard drive for $130 extra from memory. If you want PM me for the guys email address.

Just wondering if those with chipped boxes are using Live yet as there were some concerns re some of the chips out there causing problems.

With some chips (the cheaper ones) you need an external switch but with the others it can be done with the controller

I 'know' a 'close' friend who does the chip + all software for $90. I'll get the upgrade prices on HDD's as well.....

Which chip though? Check that out too...as the cheaper one usually is $90 but the better one usually is $20 more expensive. (Better one is Chameleon)

I've spoken to some people who have their xbox's chipped and get on xbox live. a few have been banned. its a bit of a hassle and if you forget to switch the chip off, but some people are doing it. i think you still need the original game though.

i've got an xbox for playing online and another one that is chipped for the offline games and for roms.
