Xiaomi Phones

Anyone got one or thinking of buying one? Thinking of picking one up with my iPhone on last legs. Seem to becoming more and more popular and have good reviews/specs from what I've seen.

I'd consider one if my current phone dies. Xiaomi is one of those brands like Hyundai and Hisense............ got a reputation for producing some utterly shit products, but are currently building some good stuff. The downside is that accessories will be a lot harder to come by compared to your regular models.

They're pretty good but make sure the one you want will pick up the important local network bands. Band 5 (850) for Vodafone and 28 (700) for Telstra or Optus.

Just got a Redmi 5 for $215. Battery life is excellent. Seems functional enough but I’ve had a Samsung dinosaur for years.

have had a Xiaomi for the past couple of years. had the Mi 5s and just upgraded to the Mi 6. dont really have a bad thing to say about them. had no problems whatsoever. excellent bang for buck.
