Yahoo mail issues

I have an apple computer that I use a wirelessly for my internet.suddenly out of the blue I am unable to connect to my email through yahoo.com.au, it comes up saying safari unable to connect to the server.we rang yahoo got an indian call centre and they wanted money to fix it or find out what is wrong.

what choices do I have what could be causing this? it was fine three days ago and all of a sudden it's doing this.

Have you tried accessing it from somewhere else (work, mobile when not on wifi)
Do you have general Internet access?
Have you restarted your router/pc?

Yahoo won't help you. Their servers are up. This is an issue on your pc/network

i only have wi fi access..with a modem, my iPhone is old and won't let me access the mail either keeps logging out....havent tried other computers yet

And you're able to connect to all other websites without any problems?
