I think lace-ups are banned. Fears of tacklers dislocating fingers if their hand gets caught in the stiches. One club last year had a 'fake' lace-up with printed-on laces but it looked a bit dumb.

It looked like some synthetic metro shirt sported by the little rubber people on their way to a rave or whatever they do.

We should do the heritage properly with woollen jumpers tucked into white shorts, brylcream hairstyles and hard-as-nails, punch-the-**** out of anyone attitudes. Make our lot become men.
