I like the Gumbies, I really do, but you have to ask questions of their recruiting department when they can't even sign up a player who's Geelong through & through, add that to not being able to hold onto Unwritten_Law who's now the best paceman in the comp & you feel that heads might roll.

You cannot recruit someone who doesn't wasnt to be recruited. We don't have the luxury of a star-studded squad or reputation such as the Allies to lure good players to our team. YOTC clearly is chasing glory and thinks he will find it at the Allies rather than the Gumbies, which is probably true.

Moo is right, we don't need these sort of players comign into our team, we need to keep recruiting guys that want to play for the Gumbies, not arrogant ers that will just leave anyway.
