... Greg Tivendale.

A beautiful left foot kick that consistently can hit a target 60 metres away. Why, oh why?, do you persist with those dinky little 15 metre chips to someone in trouble?

For ******** sake, lift you eyes and hoof it down the field!

Spot on, his natural style fits the new gameplan perfectly, with big targets like Richo and Simmonds his first instinct should always be long and direct to them.

Am I the only one who noticed but when the wheels started falling off in the second QTR ( I swear spud must have given the qtr time address ) , it was the old heads , Tivendale being main offender , who went back to thier old indecisive ways . Stopping , propping , unsure , looking sideways , wrong options .

For mine . Gasper , Kellaway , Tivendale , Chaffey all want to adapt pretty quickly to Ploughs style or they will find themselves out at Coburg .

The kids were fantastic last night IMO , fleet of foot , quick hands and feet , hard running , the old boys want to extract the digit

You'll finfd the problem is his heart.
It's tiny.

You will also find he has no right foot and as such is constantly forced to use the left in situations that call for a right.

Basically he's a fukken dud and along with Gaspar continue an ancient history
of dudism at the RFC.

I actually thought gaspar did a reasonable job last night.

Reasonable is no enough any more Peejay.

His indecision when kicking in in laughable and sometimes his chosen targets are
even funnier.

Im not too worried yet but we do have no back line.

True.

I guess iam just hoping that he can develop from this and become a reliable defender again.

I think his AA days are gone but I would settle for a reliable defender - be it gas or anyone else sitching up a spot.

Don't worry, you'll never convince someone like oxx because he's not happy unless there is someone in the team for him to dump on.

Gaspar and Kellaway need Benny Hill music when they have the ball in the backline. They have no poise whatsoever, fall over easily and have average disposal at best. Even though Jackson got carved up by Tarrant it was a breath of fresh air to see a key defender of ours use the ball without any sign of uncordination.

Our recent hey position backmen have all been uncos and bring your heart to your mouth whenver they have to use the footy in a precarious position.

As for Tivendale, he was ok, wasn't that bad. Agreed he should have used his long kicking more, but otherwise he was serviceable.

thought his game last night was still more of the same indecision, no heart, lack of intensity he has to be moved on if no improvemnet this year im afraid....a waste really... but his time is nearly up.....

I thought Gasper held up well last night and really is our only chance of beating his man on any given day down back (talls I mean). We have no other talls we can play down back and if we were to get rid of Gas without a replacement, we would be horribly exposed (as opposed to just exposed). Schultz will not cut it (no skills when the ball hits the ground and not smart enough as a key position player) and Hall is not the answer.

Lay off and give him a chance for ********'s sake.
