Pardon? The pay is good, and the holidays you get are good which is why it's amazing how greedy you all are.

Personally though I could never be a teacher.

How have I owned myself?

Going by your posts it looks as if you in fact are the whinging prat. Suck it up tool, teachers get more holidays than you - and are paid by most standards an average if not below average wage for a university education.

Cry me a river.

Take it you're also a teacher then.

When do you go back to work? Start of Feb? Finish at the end of Nov? With 8 weeks off inbetween that?

Poor you. :(

Primary teacher, gawd that can't be too difficult. I'm sorry but when I was at school, at recess and lunch the vast majority would be either in the staff room laughing and drinking coffee or on yard duty. You're not on your feet ALL day in the classroom are you? Surely a lot of the time you just give them sheets or whatever, they work quietly and you just sit at your desk? That's a great opportunity to get marking done!

Give me $60k with 14-16 weeks off a year anyday.

Fcuk that. I manage a bottle shop in the safe knowledge that I never deal with anyone under 18. Joy.

Corey Delaney- Home and Away- Schoolies @ the Gold Coast- Festivals- I rest my case your honour.

Well yeh that's my job for now.

Job - Financial Planner
Salary - $65,000 + bonus
Education - Commerce Degree

Work days - Mon - Fri, nominally 9 - 5 but tend to stay a bit longer
Earning potential - Unlimited. Most of the guys I work with in ownership roles are on $300k++

Downsides - Extremely high stress, especially on a day like this.

I run my own Voice and Data company. Wages are not really an accurate indicator when you work for yourself. The business pretty much pays for everything nowadays (and we own everything - which is a bonus).

I completed 5th year and that was that. I do spend a lot of time on courses learning about the ins and outs of of new technologies coming thru.

I never work weekends and will always knock off on Fridays at around 1pm. Holidays - Lol.
