Played yesterday at the national. it was very windy. And difficult. Acceptable score on the back 9. Less said about the front teh better.

Was down at Wynnum Golf Club tomorrow but I’ve decided to bail because half the course is unplayable and the rest is nearly a swamp.
I’m playing tomorrow at Redcliffe Golf Club instead. $10 for the comp because my home club is reciprocal plus $34 for a cart if I want one . I left my push buggy in Toowoomba unfortunately (forgot to pack it).
Have you played Redcliffe Elixuh ?

Yeah. You’re standard suburban course. It’s ok for what it is. Will be a bit wet I imagine.

Everything is wet but Wynnum is a swamp. The 2 courses in Toowoomba are holding up real well considering all of the rain. Not many obvious swamp patches.

Beat the rain, beat the long weekend traffic back home to north of the river.
Par 3 third, cold, early in the morning, clubbed up to make sure I got to the green.
Pitch mark was 15cm from the pin, unfortunately it came in too hot, 1 bounce, hit the pin. 2 putt par

34 points today at Redcliffe Golf Club. Too many three putts on a course that I’ve never played before. I couldn’t read the greens. Course was in pretty good condition considering all of the rain in Brissy.

Did have a 4 putt for a wipe on a par 3.
Good conditions, a little breeze...freezing cold when the sun was behind the clouds.

Aye for the cold. I wore pants for the first time this year (in melbourne) yesterday. Shorts go back into the drawer.

On e you realise and accept that you're not going to score it's kind of fun playing in bad weather. But we will access in the morning. Wind or rain is OK, it's an outdoor sport. But both is a bit blah.
