Anyway, all this talk of online records and XP is getting me amped up to play online. Hopefully all is back and working later today and I can get back to improving my streak!

Yeah, studied a fair bit so I could get a few hours of Live in before going out. PSN was down, so thought yeah should be back in a couple of hours. Not to be. Got home about 11 and still ****ing down.

Now the news from Playstation that it could be a day or two. Fan****ingtastic! No footy tomorrow either..

Majority of my online matches have been private so couldn't tell you much of the results there (although I have lost a few of the private matches...albeit by VERY small margins), have won my fair share of private's.

But ranked I'm 9-2 I think. One loss came from a 2 vs 1, just could not do it. The other one was to a BigFooty guy in Rapidshave, again VERY small margin loss and was one that I really let go of the match after being a solid few goals in front for most of the match.

Would've improved my record tonight had the PSN been up.

I get what you mean. I had a 2 vs. 1 this afternoon and just slid over the line. So much more difficult. You kinda need to change the way you play.

I've had a few, but this was the first one I encountered so I wasn't really aware of it at all. Made it that much harder to counter when I just didn't get why they'd have that man running perfectly into space like that every time.

Then it clicked about 5 minutes into the last when I was seeing their player run forward of the ruck each time.

Have played another 2 teams 2 vs 1 online and did manage to beat them, it's a very tough ask. Couldn't bare the thought of 3 vs 1.

Haha my first game was a 2 v 1. One of the guys had a mic and was OK, and the other guy was just terrible. Both sounded young. The guy with the mic was just yelling at the other guy haha. Beat them fairly comfortably

There's nothing worse (that I've experienced) than playing against two guys that know what they're doing, no matter how cheap it is. I don't understand how people can get enjoyment out of being cheap (punching the ball to the free player from the ruck etc.).

haha yeah. May not have been 3 or 4 vs one but the guy might have been quick selecting each player and pushing them forward then changing and pushing forward again, since the players don't exactly rush back into position if you do that.

Surely if they're competent then the task is significantly harder, they can always have the extra man no matter what. I mean I know if they over compensate and both run after the ball too much then you can have the extra man, but if the guys are good and play smartly then it can be one hell of an experience to try and counter.

I played on game tonight. I kid you not, at every single contest he would bump me. I understand a few, but overdoing it just makes you look like a tool.

Still managed to beat him by 20 odd points.

2v1 is easy because you can put the pressure on and if they are both under pressure then the ai isn't there to keep cool. if ya get my drift.

But if one bloke chases the ball and the other bumps or alternatively moves ahead of the play to receive a handball, everything is made so much more difficult.

People kicking the ball on the ground because you can't pick it up because you are poo.. don't. It's fine here and there but when you try and kick dribble a goal from your backline it's ****ing annouying.

Online record wise I have had a few epic and few thrashings, was going to give 5 thrashings in a row when my net cut off. I was in front by 90 ought aswell. Ohwell.

I just beat the #34 ranked guy on Xbox Live by 10 goals. Scott the killer is his Gamertag (something like that anyway). I was Carlton he was Collingwood, which made it even sweeter.

He will be spewing when he realises he just got hammered by a guy ranked over 500.

I think I'm 4-0 out of 5 games on Xbox Live now (1 rage quit).
