Reece McKenzie's dad is a Carlton premiership player (1987). How do you think he feels!

I think Wayne Harmes was a Carlton player who never stopped supporting the RFC.

Your sons side is playing Richmond in the GF, we win and he does a career ending injury, or they win and he's best on ground?

I'd have to go with my son winning the Norm Smith. ....i wouldn't wish an injury upon him.

They win, BOG every single day

Didn't Hodgey's family continue to support Richmond even after he had won multiple hawks flags? I remember the dad did not get off the tiges at all

I would sacrifice him to the aztec gods for an rfc flag

If I were drafted I'd keep up my membership, don't want to lose all the years I built up.

Exactly.

If my son were drafted by another club then I would follow them closely and want him/them to go well in every game... Even against the Tiges. In fact if he played in a winning premiership and was BOG I would be absolutely stoked!

Lance Franklin Senior seems pretty pleased wearing the scarf for whatever team his son is playing for.....

John Kennedy Junior was practically brought up at Glenferrie Oval and is a legitimate hawthorn champion and 4 time premiership player.
Openly admits he barracked for the swans in grand finals against Hawthorn.
John Senior on the other hand couldn't bring himself to do it.
Being completely honest I'm pretty sure I'd want my child's team to win too.

[QUOTE="Wallaby, post: 36542858,

Family is far more important - you cant compare supporting one to the other.[/QUOTE]

Eddie Maguire could be the exception here.
