YouTube issues

G'day, wonderin if anyone can help.

I mostly use Firefox and when i click a Youtube clip embedded in BF it loads ok but when i play it it goes for about 2 secs then stops. Pressing pause/play doesn't do anything, but if i click the progress bar pointer it'll go for another second or so and stop.

Have tried opening same clip in IE7 and works a bit better but is very much start stop even though the clip is fully loaded.

I am starting to think it's my computer (3yr old Dell Laptop 1G ram) but it does everything else well and only seems to be a recent prob.

Any suggestions??

I've had this problem a few times too. I updated my flash player and it went away. I also found this that may help you out if updating doesn't do the trick.

I had this problem. Now i use Chrome just for youtube

I switched back to IE,firefox loses the plot with flash and even normal pictures too often.I got sick of trying to fix it all the time, and installing/deleting various add-ons and extensions just to view a utube clip or get 'right click-save as' to work on pics.

Can't believe it. Was watching a couple of youtube clips, saw this thread, clicked on another video, and now I have the exact same problem!
