Rhyce isn't a kid anymore, in 2005 he became a man. I hope he doesn't bulk up to much, remember the year Hird turned into the hulk and the had the stress fractures of the feet lugging around the extra weight, bummer!

he can put on abit of extra weight "fool" and still not lose too much of his speed..

and the fact that he's having a knee reco, means he's gonna lose some of that speed anyway.

He's too light. Good to see him do what he can to improve while he is off his feet. If we have to carry a couple of players with suspect disposal he may as well be at the front of the list. His pace, heart and sheer Collingwoodness are what we need more of. Good to see a few less Collingwood supporters calling for his beheading these days as well.

with the character he's shown over the past year, you'd have to be a moron (or a troll) to call for his beheading.

My respect for rhyce shaw has absolutely skyrocketed this year.
His continual upbeat and positive demeanour has been great.
His form revival after being absolutely sh@t on for over 2 years was sensational.
But his willingness to enter a contest seconds after rupturing his ACL was absolutely inspirational. Should permanantly lay to rest any questions over his commitment and courage for good.
Pity a few of his soft ******** teammates couldn't respond to that.

yeah great to see he is committed to the future and his comeback from the reco....as some have said he will drop some pace, will be great if he can develop his game further and become someone who can get in and win the hard ball as well, although we will miss his run and dash

real shame he went down with the knee, hoping he can bounce back real strongly next season :)

At the end of last year i would have said that Rhyce Shaws future was in doubt and i felt sorry for the bloke, and know he has overcome that and before doing that knee, i would have said that either he or jimmy 'the general' clement wouldve been the contenders for the pies b & f.

At the end of 2002 (let alone end of 2004) Rhyces future was in doubt, some were calling for his head along with Richards.

i dont know how secure guy richards' future is.

Been on the list for 5 years, and he's managed 12 games. The kid cant string 2 games together before getting reinjured.
