Zac Dawson bashed

Ch10 news just reported that Hawk ruckman Zac Dawson was bashed the same night that Essendon youngster Ricky Dyson was assaulted.

According to Ch10 Dawson was waiting, alone, outside a St Kilda nightspot when he was kicked in the side of the head.

Hawthorn football manager Mark Evans said Dawson had not even drinking when bashed.

Dawson has reportably returned to preseason training sporting a black eye.

Mark Evans, the Hawks football manager confirmed on SEN last night that the incident had happened, and that Zac got mild concussion from it, but nothing to worry about.
