Want to provide a source for that?

Never seen anything that states as a fact, that Butters is on a million a year. Guaranteed it was only around 650k to 750k when he signed last for the few years so he could then put the effort in and get what he's deserved by his efforts. Hence the initial contract being a couple years. That's how Zak roles clearly. He wants to prove himself first.

So this 1 million contract that he's already allegedly on, IMO is garbage. But, he will no doubt be worth that and more and Guaranteed he will remain at Port and sign an extension.

Did you even read that article? He was referring to Kozzy 100% gone.. NOT Butters ffs...
Did you even read the article? King said he is the biggest possible trade this year.
There has been talking of him leaving, and if you haven't heard them, then you don't know anyone remotely in the SA football community.

Sure.
Now that you know, you know.
The author of the AFL article is Cal Twomey, who has more contact with list managers than you or I.

That list is an assumption with no verifiable facts and it states that Butters and Rozee are believed to be in the best players paid category NOT top tier where it mentions 1.2 million or more.

As I said prior though, Butters would of only been on around 650k to 750k during that contract extension with bonuses obviously. Maybe, just maybe it might have been 800k at most but nowhere near the previous mention of 1 million. He will be definitely worth that though from his hard work and next deal.

Anyone that takes Kingy seriously has rocks in their head 🤦

If there's any real biggest trade potential this season, it would be on the Bont whether he stays or leaves. But he's definitely staying at the Dogs.

There's talks of players every year ffs... and it's amusing how so many of these people you're trying to refer to as some how credible sources, are predominantly wrong. It's just specifically.

Seriously, just give it a rest already.

I can do this all day dude.
You actually think you have a better idea of what players get paid than people inside the AFL like Cal Twomey who plays golf with player managers and list managers, and has all of their phone numbers in his phone, and when he rings they take his call.
You know better than these people?
Get a grip mate.
He's getting paid more than you thought, just accept it and move on.

Again, key word (that you keep bloody missing) ... BELIEVED...

And that might of just been due to extra bonuses on top of a salary base line which could very well be, like I said previously.

Stop pulling your c*ck over this already. You're going on more about the salary, as if it's a key ingredient in Butters leaving and thinking that Port can't match it? The only brainless twat here is you.

The chance of Butters requesting a trade this year or even next year is probably 0.0001% or, realistic, not going to happen.

Missing Tim Kelly supposedly from that list

After leaving Paddy's in Ballarat for Maribynong Sports College he is quite literally the link the Doggies want from the western suburbs to the greater western suburbs. Grew up in Darley. The human embodiment of the Wendouree V-line if you will.

It just makes sense

Oh please, just admit he's getting paid more than you 'thought'. There's no harm in being wrong.
And, for the record, it's you who has taken his wage as a big deal. Me saying he is already highly paid was about it not being a money thing with Port, so the salery shouldn't be the deciding factor.
You then chirped up to say I was making stuff up about him being on a mill a year, there was no evidence of that assertion.
I replied showing how there is plenty of evidence of that, it wasn't something I just made up, but was infact put out there by people far more in the know than you or I.

Now, back to the topic at hand.
Do you think he could leave?

Butters will clearly get lucrative offers and I’d imagine we’d have enough cash stashed away to match any offers. He will get paid well no matter what, and so he should.

I wasnt confident of him staying. But I’ll take C4’s word over anyone else.
He is usually close to the mark when he makes a call.

Clearly backend, Rozee is on $1M after he re-signed but I'm sure there's report of Butters contract is $800K last time he signed. Will be interest if the rumour Port Power also offered Lukosius a similar contract to Rozee so that would mean Port Power will have 3 players on $1M.

That may be the contract Adelaide offered. It was reported he accepted less at port
