You actually realise right that the CFMEU stuff hasn't even gotten off the ground yet sufficiently and thus why this has to be extended?
Irrelevant to the Gillard RC and you know it.

The royal commission is on trade unions. Care to tell me how it is irrelevant if it is part of the same one?Irrelevant to the Gillard RC and you know it.

No it is the same royal commission just being extended. They are separte in what they are investigating.
Gill/AWU/Wilson was one...the CFMEU is a second separate one.
No it is the same royal commission just being extended.
Very unlikely she'll successfully sue for a royal commission outcome clearing her.You are still missing the bloody point dymot.
The RC has cleared Gillard of any wrongdoing. It is a recommendation handed down by the RC. Therefore the probe into her has been a waste of money. Fact. And she now has grounds in regardfs to the accusations and misrepresentations made of her. And who could blame her if she did that.
As it has turned out, that appears to be the only wrongdoing that actually happened.
I wonder if Julia will now go the Government in a civil hearing. She now has grounds, backed by the RC indeed.
What an embarrassing waste of money. Yes folks, Abbott and co are wasters. This is a proven fact after this result.

Gillard cleared of criminal actions-just poor choice in boyfriend as I suspected.Which will at the end of the day reflect badly on ALP.
She should be. Still at the end of the day reflects badly on Labor and the unions.Gillard cleared of criminal actions-just poor choice in boyfriend as I suspected.
Tone's hero Jackson-recommended be charged. Tone backed the wrong horse.
Cop it on the chin Motty.
Who should be?She should be. Still at the end of the day reflects badly on Labor and the unions.
342. Lastly, for the reasons set out above the Commission should find that Ms Gillard was the beneficiary or recipient of certain funds from Mr Wilson, consistent with the evidence of Mr James and Mr Hem. It is not possible to identify after all this time the precise source of the funds, since Mr Wilson seems to have drawn cash from the accounts operated in Victoria as well as from the Association’s account. The skimpy nature of the available evidence does not make it possible to infer on the balance of probabilities that Ms Gillard was aware that she had received the $5,000 which Mr Hem put into her bank account on Mr Wilson’s instructions. But she was aware of facts, had she turned her mind to them, which would have indicated that the source of the wads of bank notes cannot have been the low union salary of Mr Wilson of about $50,000 – a man who was supporting his family in Perth, his own household in Melbourne, and his relationship with Ms Gillard in Melbourne, and who was not shown to have had any 125
income from property exceeding the cost of mortgage repayments – but must have been some fund he did not own but did control. That is, she must have been aware of facts, which had she turned her mind to them, would have revealed that Mr Wilson was making payments to her in breach of some fiduciary duty.
Different thread. She should be. Still at the end of the day reflects badly on Labor and the unions.
So propheticClock ticking fast now.
Tony Abbott & his Liberal hacks along with the dregs from the right wing feral shock jocks/blogs such as Smith & co had one main purpose & that was to "get" Gillard but they failed miserably.
Don't you agree DR?
Just got in and saw the news re the submission at the RC. But what does this have to do with Smith's complaint being investigated by the Vic Fraudies?
Think she just wanted to clear her name. That's done. Move on.
Also - to paraphrase George Bernard Shaw - never wrestle with a pig (viz News Corp) cos you both get dirty and the pig enjoys it.
He has decided she is guilty of being a bad lawyer.
