Rockliff above Hanners is a joke.
yeh its not a joke mate lol, hannebery is having a good year and will probably be all australian while rockliff had an even better year last year but has copped injury after injury this year so maybe we will get the answer next year.

Hanners is above Rockliff in almost every way. Better clearance player, better outside runner, better leader, better big time player, better goal kicker.

Give Rockliff the fantasy trophy and then talk real football.

Hannebery should be no.1 on all lists if we're talking performances to date.

you are a complete idiot. comparing rockliff's last year to hanneberys 2015 this year rockliff averages more touches, more clearances, more contested possesions dramatically more tackles and is captain of his club.

Great comparison... Hanners was injured for most of last season, just like Rockliff this season. How about you look beyond Rockliff's one break out season and look at the rest of their careers?!

That is a comparison of rockliffs last year and hanneberys 2015 lol. over their carrers rockliff averages more disposals, contested possesions, goals, tackles, clearances and pretty much every other stat.

well I can't see it being fair pulling up rockys for this year. 1 concussion 2 broken rib affected games to go with an early return from the broken ribs that he didn't get involved with and somehow playing a week after he was Ko'ed

So you compared last year's stats? Congrats.

Ask almost every neutral fan who'd they take and you'll get your answer.
Hanners played 19 games in 2014 according to those stats. What were his injuries last year as he still played a fair amount of games? That's a honest question by the way, I don't know what condition he was in last year

Rockliff is one of the most overrated players in the AFL along with the rest of the "big names" in the Brisbane midfield. They all get these great stats and look fantastic until you look at the most important one of them all - the final score. If Brisbane had so many awesome midfielders why are they one of the worst teams in the comp. I'd guess because they are masters of accumulating meaningless possessions and have no defensive game whatsoever. The attitude of that club to onfield accountability is demonstrated by the failure to select Jack Crisp who they got rid of for nothing and who is now the second best midfielder in a team competing for top 4. The only midfielder on their list who deserves any credit is Beams because he already has the runs on the board. The rest of them are contaminated with failure.

Maybe in your eyes but the figures tell us a different story. Also much easier to look good in a good team than to look good in a crap one.

Clearances Rockliff actual beats Hannerbry
Outside running is totally dependent on where your running too and who you're kicking it too,

Big time player hey, lets just look at that over the last couple of years.
2014 GF- nope, no good there (but not a big game)
2014 PF - career average stats.
2014 QF - solid game, listed amongst Sydney's best players

2013 PF - stank
2013 SF - top game
2013 QF - stank.

Rockliff - well Brisbane are crap so can't look at finals, instead lets try Q-Clash games. Where his performance have been oh so crap.
2015 - KO'd at start - can't judge
2014 - rd 3 - 35 disposals, 3 goals, 2 Brownlow votes in a side that lost by 53 points.
2014 - rd 17 - 47 disposals, 1 goal, 2 brownlow votes in 54 point win.

2013 - r3 - career ave stats in winning side
2013 - r15 - average stats in winning side.

Goal kicking wise they are equal. But you might want to consider the fact that Rockliff was the leading goal kicker in the TAC Cup in 2008.

Finally leadership. you're right Rockliff has no leadership skills, so was appointed captain by mistake and we really should get him to remove the fact that he was Captain of the Murray Bushrangers when they won the TAC Cup too.
