Deion Sanders says.....Four quarterbacks, Andy Dalton, Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning, Tony Romo.....who no one cares what you do in the regular season, don't care about records (manning, it means nothing, we dont care), we only care what you do in the playoffs, you either win playoff games and win it all, or don't bother.

Basically, he was saying that. Marshall Faulk agreed.

NFLN talking about how Cam Newton was pissed off that Ed Hoculi didn't call roughing the passer, really late hit, how Hoculi said to him, "you're not old enough to get that call".....newton post-game was fuming about that. Later the NFL said, no roughing the passer call when a QB is out of the tackle box. But the NFLN panel saying, that's BS, if Brady got hit even a little in that same situation it would be a Personal Foul call, sure, not roughing the passer, but a call would be made. Double standards.

The Raiders continued their struggles to defend opposing tight ends and it didn’t take a household name for it to happen.

The Browns’ Gary Barnidge is in his eighth NFL season and entered Sunday with just 48 career catches for 658 yards. He’d never caught more than four passes in a game or had more than 77 yards. Naturally, he went off for six catches, 105 yards and a touchdown.

Tight ends have now caught 21 passes for 305 yards and five touchdowns against Oakland this season. All three starting tight ends they’ve faced – Barnidge, Baltimore’s Crockett Gilmore and Cleveland’s Tyler Eifert – have set career highs in receptions and yards against the Raiders.

Raiders’ quarterback Derek Carr surpassed Tom Flores and, with 3,996 passing yards has the most in team history through his first two NFL seasons.

The Raiders are now 4-0, including 2-0 this season, when running back Latavius Murray has at least 15 rushing attempts.

Wide receiver Amari Cooper became the first Raider with consecutive 100-yard receiving games since Randy Moss in 2005 and the first Raiders rookie since James Jett in 1993.

He’s the third rookie in the NFL since 1960 with at least 20 catches through his first three games and his 290 receiving yards are the third-most by a rookie through his first three games.

He saved the game. Benjamin got wide open on the last drive, if he'd caught it, they would've scored and tied the game, Carrie playing Safety, sprinted over just in the nick of time and broke up the pass. He's also been very solid.
Most teams have bit players who contribute

Arizona Cardinals have set a new record for the most points scored in the first three weeks of the season.

Well most good offensive teams could do that if they got Chicago and San Fran to start the season. But the Cards O has been super impressive, If Palmer can stay healthy they would be the 2nd best team in the NFC and Best in the West.

The loss to the 49ers looked dreadful. Since that game they have gone in opposite directions. Just surprised by it, that's all.

Dont know what's suprising, give it to Peterson more than 10 times a game = win.

When you put all your chips in on Bridgewater you get what happened in San Fran. They have learned their lesson and their D is elite.

Newton's bigger than most LB's and runs the ball more physically than any QB in the NFL, the refs see him get up from plenty of fair hard shots when he does so of course there are double standards when comparing him to your standard pocket passing squealer.

Logic = He's big, he can take the hits.

One more--just cause it is therapeutic for me---you wonder why a franchise perpetually sucks? You might think that it is easy to suck. Here is definitive proof you have to actively work extremely hard to suck so bad for so goddamn long.

See, if you fella's can notice what the Cleveland Browns could not. :D

(and no they didn't come close to putting it in the endzone)

@JasonLaCanfora: Bears end up paying Jaren Allen nearly $15M for 19 weeks of work. Defense remained awful. Another brutal contract from ex GM Phil Emery...

Cam Newton is an idiot.

Actually he's a whiny idiot.

I'm no fan of Ed but if he did say it, it was obviously a joke. Not sure why he'd lie if he did say it either since every ref is miked.

If Cam wants to be treated like a future HOFer then he needs to earn the resume. You don't publicly demand it.
