Crazy how tight the AFC is. If the Jags win tomorrow they will join the ravens and Miami at 9-3 with KC now at 8-4. The loss could be huge for KC would of been the 1 seed but now a game back and looking at the 4. Going to be an exciting month ahead.

If Browns fans were as loud as Rams fans they might have been able to inspire him but the Rams fan base is clearly louder and bigger.
Why wouldn’t they be?? Like most of the NFL the Rams are from Cleveland

😜

Very impressive again from Love …may have been a little lucky but that throw under pressure as he was falling back and it hit the receiver who was in between three defenders. Another where he threw it to sideline deliberately behind the defenders back as defender was running in front of the receiver.

Packers could easily win out from here looking at their remaining schedule.

Stroud showing some terrific signs again. The way he avoided the rush and still stay in the pocket to make some crucial passes was quality. League needs some quality young QBs stepping up.

So youre saying that you've swapped teams more than GG has? Disgraceful! Where is your loyalty???!!!

Saying they are the Cleveland Rams

So you got:

Cleveland Browns
Cleveland Rams
Cleveland Ratbirds
Cleveland Bungles

😉

Ravens play Miami & Jacksonville.

So the number 1 seed is either a 14-3 team by itself OR the more likely is that there are 3/4 teams at 13-4. I think KC gets the 1 in that scenario.

Ravens also play Rams, 49ers & Steelers. The toughest end to the season in the NFL. IF they win out, they deserve the number 1 seed.

:(

Texans’ HC DeMeco Ryans said Tank Dell underwent season-ending surgery on his ankle.
Dell suffered a fractured fibula in the Texans’ Week 13 win over the Broncos, bringing his stellar rookie season to an end. A hand-picked receiver by rookie C.J. Stroud earlier this offseason, Dell’s season ends with 47 receptions for 709 yards and seven touchdowns. The explosive plays he became known for during his time at the University of Houston were quickly translating to the NFL, as Dell averaged 15.1 YPR while hauling in 10 receptions of 20-plus yards. He’ll now begin rehabbing in hopes of being ready for the start of 2024, in a year that could feature a massive jump for a much-improved Texans team.

Circus

The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports Zach Wilson is “reluctant to stepping back in” for the Jets as their starting quarterback.
The Jets have tried Wilson, Tim Boyle, and Trevor Siemian at quarterback and aren’t any closer to an answer at the position than they were when they benched Wilson for Week 12. According to Russini, the Jets would like to go back to Wilson again, but his reluctance to step back in as the starter could force them to sign a veteran free agent off the streets. Wilson has thrown for 1,944 yards, six touchdowns, and seven interceptions for the Jets this season while going 3-6. The former No. 2 overall pick will likely be on a new team in 2024 or out of the league, but his future with the Jets is all but sealed at this point.

Jets HC Robert Saleh said he’s not ready to announce a Week 14 starter against the Texans.
Speaking Monday, Saleh declined to name a starter for next week’s game and commented on earlier reports of Zach Wilson being “reluctant” to play, saying, “Let’s be clear, if he were reluctant to play, he wouldn’t be here.” There could be some truth to that, but Wilson being unwilling to suit up for a coach who has attempted to replace and bench him — while deserved, isn’t all that surprising. The offensive line is also a disaster, and the season is all but lost. Wilson opting to sit out and preserve his health heading into the offseason for whatever future his career holds makes some sense. The Jets are 4-8 and arguably the worst offense team of the last 20 years. Whoever gets the start won’t have any fantasy relevance beyond the skill position players they’re negatively impacting.

The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports, “Aaron Rodgers reached out to Zach Wilson in an effort to advise him to resume the starter role.”

Eagles signed LB Shaq Leonard.
Leonard visited with the Eagles and Cowboys after the Colts released him two weeks ago. The veteran linebacker will provide added help to an Eagles defense that was gouged for 456 yards (8.0 yards per play) in Week 13’s loss to the 49ers. Leonard totaled 65 tackles and two TFLs in nine games with the Colts, but looks like a shell of his former self. A back injury suffered in 2021 has slowed the former All-Pro, who will look to bounce back with the Eagles for the remainder of the season.

The stat is wild

Decent chance of another next week

Steelers HC Mike Tomlin said Kenny Pickett had surgery on his high-ankle sprain and is officially out for Week 14 against the Patriots.
Pickett was never expected to play on Thursday. The team announced shortly after Sunday’s loss to the Cardinals that he would undergo surgery and likely miss 2-4 weeks. Although, Tomlin declined to give a timeframe for Pickett’s return on Monday. Mitchell Trubisky, who threw for 117 yards and one touchdown on 17 attempts, will get the start for the Steelers against a Patriots defense that is fresh off keeping the Chargers out of the end zone in Week 13. We’ll see if Trubisky can manage better in a prime-time matchup that has the early makings of a snoozer.

What a pleb. Your last chance to start ever and this is your call.

Its a genuinely wide open year.

AFC has a Bradbury feel to it, wouldn't surprise me if the top seeds fall over each other during the playoffs and a lower seed gets into the superbowl.

Probably wouldn't be a good thing if that happened and the NFC team was a fit 49ers.

I dunno, id be pretty hostile to a team who ruined my career and replaced me with Tim Boyle.

Rodgers taking a pay cut to play for the Jets has really ****ed them over, they handed over the franchise and power to him, GM Aaron refused to get a decent backup in (call me cynical but I reckon this is so he could look better when he came back, THIS FRANCHISE NEEDS ME TO SAVE IT, NOBODY ELSE CAN) and refuses to get rid of his mate at OC who cant call plays for s**t.

Watch GM Aaron give the Raiders everything for Adams this offseason. Have seen Jets fans talk about taking a QB with a top 5-8 pick, lol, not a chance they do. GM Aaron runs the show here unlike in Green Bay. Its all in next year and leave the roster in a state for someone else to clean up.

Hell even the Browns beat the 9ers

Good take but also why I hate the current playoff format.

Same is going on in the NFC. There is the width of a playing card separating the records of the top teams and one of them will come out with a 1st round bye and home field all the way through the playoffs.

I think that is way too big a reward between 1st and 2nd given the anomalies of the regular season schedule, strength of schedule, an injury or officiating fubar or daysbrest can be the difference on any given Sunday.

The 1 seed may not even be the best team in their division.

I don't tend to think there's that much risk of injustice in terms of not being the best team in the division, at least this year.

The Cowboys would not have the Eagles record against our schedule- they also got blown up by the Niners and haven't beaten a winning team yet. If the Eagles win the division, they'll have earned that.

If the Cowboys win it, it will be because the Eagles have collapsed and because Dallas managed their own difficult run at the back end of the schedule and beat us. They'll have earned that.

If the Niners don't get the one seed despite being the best team it's because they fell in a pit when one of their offensive weapons missed time.
