Can he do that in National Draft though? Because National Draft I thought they need minimum 2 year contracts? What if he says I'll only sign a 1 year contract?

Only relates to new recruits I believeCan he do that in National Draft though? Because National Draft I thought they need minimum 2 year contracts?
Think 2 year deals are for new draftees onlyI know its burning a high pick for potentially just a year of service, but look how many picks GWS have lol... But hang on, if he gets drafted by a club, doesn't he have to sign a 2 year deal?
Even in National Draft? Because any new kids that get drafted in National Draft must be minimum 2 year deal... Not sure if its the same requirement for mature players.Pretty sure he can nominates whatever terms he wants
Parf just re-signed for 2 years about a month ago and has expressed no interest in leaving. UnlikelyWith Bowes and (most likely) Clarke coming in, Menegola returning from injury, further development of Atkins and others, you have a surplus of AFL-quality midfielders heading into 2023.
How about a Henry-for-Parfitt trade, given that we can’t agree on a picks-based trade?

I think he retired after Ablett came homeDid we ever find out what happened to Mahlepi?
It’s not.Even in National Draft? Because any new kids that get drafted in National Draft must be minimum 2 year deal... Not sure if its the same requirement for mature players.
But Carlton dont want him - ha - ha - haAgree - there were many facets to our GF win but I think the versatility that Tuohy, Duncan and Smith brought was pivotal IMHO
As much as I like Parf he's probably the most expendable............

Maybe dazbroncos will just renew the ban at 5:15 tomorrow?

Just curious.
Can you split a pick across two drafts?
Ie hand out pick 7.
Get Sydney’s pick 14 and a future first?
Is that something you just made up? or something that is floating around.
He got me through the trade period when we were after Danger. Only one who never wavered in his conviction he was coming. May his name echo in eternity._Game_ He was misunderstood. In the end, he became far more than a mere human. He transcended into the ether and became one with bigfooty.
If he doesn't can I...???..got the big 5 pointer all locked and loaded

Last seen having a Dinner date with MartyI think he retired after Ablett came home
Where do we sign - that would be a fantastic deal for the CatsWith Bowes and (most likely) Clarke coming in, Menegola returning from injury, further development of Atkins and others, you have a surplus of AFL-quality midfielders heading into 2023.

Dangerfield will be rested during the year, and we lost Selwood. Menegola is depth. Can't see us trading Parfitt tbh. Midfield is an area that probably needs some rejuvenation.
Psrfitt bleeds blue and white...very doubtful he will be released...signed an extension just recentlyWith Bowes and (most likely) Clarke coming in, Menegola returning from injury, further development of Atkins and others, you have a surplus of AFL-quality midfielders heading into 2023.

As it stood earlier this morning the thoughts were that a trade wouldn't be done. I'm not sure they blink. If what you say is true then I expect a last minute deal will go through. All Ollie has to do is tell them he won't be signing anything.
Pies are holding out hope he changes his mind while using the fear of heading to a draft and the unknown that comes with it.
But I can't see them letting him walk for nothing.
And if they do I'd be pretty confident he lasts to pick 25 in the ND. No club will want to use a high pick on him knowing he will ask for a trade in 1 year.
It won't happen... But it's a reasonable trade IMO.With Bowes and (most likely) Clarke coming in, Menegola returning from injury, further development of Atkins and others, you have a surplus of AFL-quality midfielders heading into 2023.
