The ump paid it halfway through the tackleEven the Butts HTB 15 metres out from goal seemed very hot, they were basically paying HTB is a player touched us a millisecond after getting the ball

Coming from a Cleveland state of mind...Same ol same ol
Difference between this year and all the previous is a couple nice wins which will likely save his job
And doom us to more of the same next season
They did against Rob kicking it out of the air last week. This is not something new tonight, but do umpires ever pay kicking in danger these days? Multiple times tonight that a player would be at ground level and someone would try fly kick the ball out, but was just play on.
Can you book a one-way ticket and take umpire no. 22 Nathan Williamson with you? Don't care where you leave him.Longest holiday I’ve ever taken, happy with the timing!
Because he incorrectly thought ducking under a tackle is prior, even the bias Crows commentators mentioned this. The ump paid it halfway through the tackle
It is not, playing at a suburban ground vs a normal AFL venue is very different. Finals aren’t played in Ballarat and never will be, so why are teams forced to play there because the Bulldogs are poor?
Gold NORTHERN Coast Suns.AFL might be trialing them in Darwin.
Is Ballarat seriously the sh!ttiest road trip for a non-Victorian AFL team now? A flight to Melbourne, then a one and a half hour bus trip each way. Plus playing on (what I am reliably informed from a person on who played on the same ground) as rock hard when dry, and something between ice and a bog when wet and cold.Playing the Bulldogs at Marvel is a very different game to Ballarat. Players are humans, being forced down to Ballarat vs playing at an indoor venue in the Melbourne CBD is very different psychologically.
He's nuts enough to drag ROB and throw Murray (instead of TT) into the ruck. Balls may not the problem... brains on the other hand.I doubt that Nicks has the cojones to do that, but it's an idea worth trying.
Always a good look seeing a king's ransom of empty Bunnings-standard plastic outdoor chairs for the proles to sit in.I agree, this whole experiment is pathetic.
Was showing a British mate the game this morning and he thought it was an amateur sport based on the stadium/crowd.
Even referred to a down hill skierPeople saying Dawson was rubbish clearly watched a different game to me

Did seem to fatigue a bit in the second half and made some uncharacteristic errors. Was still one of our better players though.People saying Dawson was rubbish clearly watched a different game to me

That's just another way to say a players development has stagnated.Or maybe just the "2nd year blues"......
Agreed. Fatigue I can understand, I lived in Darwin for 7 years and played for the rats, but what I saw was Dawson giving his all.Did seem to fatigue a bit in the second half and made some uncharacteristic errors. Was still one of our better players though.
Ask Geelong, Richmond and the AFL. They seem to do be able to do it every year with total indifference to the salary cap.How can we attract a gun mid between 22-25? We do that and aren’t that far away.
Because ROB was getting absolutely bent over in the ruck, so they got desperate.I was only able to catch pieces of the game so I’m genuinely asking… why did we throw Murray in ruck when we were already light in defence thanks to the Doedee injury?
Laird was more disappointing. Seems to be second to the ball a lot more these days.People saying Dawson was rubbish clearly watched a different game to me

Oh yeh he was the other down hill skierLaird was more disappointing. Seems to be second to the ball a lot more these days.
I thought the same thing right away before the first bounce, seeing the height difference between Dude & Levi. We seemed to get away with it early, despite the early goal and taking the early lead, but later paid for it dearly. Dropping Worrell was a huge mistake, having Dude on Levi early showed that, when he went off injured it was even more obvious.Yes he was good last week and I praised him for this but tonight he was worst on. It started with Doedee going to Casboult who is far too big and strong for him, first he kicks the first goal then minutes later outmuscles Doedee who gets injured in the contest. From there the disappointing stuff just continued.
He has been garbage the 2 humid games, his normal self in the others. Clearly has an issue with the heatOh yeh he was the other down hill skier
