I would like to know how Dogs are going to trade back after a croft bid is made.

How would pick 11 help them attain someone like him when there’s literally no circumstance we would trade him under contract this year?

Melbourne are only taking two live draft picks so in all likelihood all they’re doing is getting those two picks as high as possible.

Last year we paid pick 30 plus our 2023 2nd rounder 28 (ends up early 30’s)

Similar ages and years to play etc etc

Am I missing something or are we crap at trading ?

I think your forgetting to include the salary contribution that the pies are paying

Melbourne aren't paying anything. Pies are still paying their share and the Swans took over all of Melbourne's part.

They’ve cleared Dunstan, Harmes, Jordan, Grundy & Hibberd with only McAdams coming in at this stage so I would have thought they would have a few draftees coming in. Not sure what they’re playing at to be honest

That makes more sense then if they have a father/son. Practically a free up grade for them really then if he will be their last pick

They've offered Petty a larger contract in hopes he doesn't request a trade.

We should have got Grundy last year & Melbourne should have taken Lobb.

Trades didn't make sense.

English being a diva & only wanting to play ruck made that difficult however.

Adams was set to be paid 850k next year, his ontract at pies was back ended so they were happy to get that off the books now he has been pushed out of the middle.
