I have the feeling sides outside the 6 are going to do the damage
who have Belgrave got left?, they are going to be a wrecking ball for the sides in the run home
emerald with a back ended draw and so many games at home are not bound for 2 div yet

Upwey are really going to be under the pump.
It seems they can't kick competitive scores without Dan Waters playing.
Last game he played was against H/Ville and kicked 10.
Is he injured?, strange you can kick 10 and miss the next few weeks,
must have had a sore foot!
hedge out also, need these 2 playing from now on.

The League would be elated. 6 teams well in the mix and set to cut each other's throats and Healesville, Belgrave, Emerald and Warby more than capable of rolling anyone on their day.

the last 3 years have been close.....
in 2012 emerald went into the final round needing to win against wandin to avoid relegation (Healesville needed to lose also). they got the win and ended up missing finals by just 1 game.....
in 2013 about 4 weeks out from the end of the season it was looking as tho emerald and Monbulk would fight out the last round with the loser to be relegated. that game ended up deciding who would finish 5th and take the last finals spot.......
and this year it is super close again..... great for the competition......

2012 was a close year. H/ville relegated I think with 26 points, Olinda finished 2nd bottom with 32 points and 6 points out of finals.
Olinda had 2 draws that year, I against Upwey and a fogged out game at Olinda v H/Ville.
A season of what ifs, if the game against H/ville was not called off, we would have gone into final game with a chance at finals, lost by under a kick that game although Woori had luxury of resting a couple.
But once again, great season with the difference from 2012 being the top 5 are all over the shop at the minute.
Upwey really need a win and Woori who normally are rolling full steam ahead at this time of year are having a form slump.
Monbulk sitting pretty but as Garions post earlier with Williams and Farvin out, lose 2 of their main goal scores and 2 very hard to replace players.
Limited depth but still on top so they hold all the aces.
Bad luck to Shane Williams, Monbulk really need his raking kicks, can split a game apart pretty quickly.
Wandin must be really pumped, on a great roll at the minute with questions being asked at the start of the year, have come back really well and now just sitting back and watching how the top 5 sides are unfolding, Mt Evelyn and Olinda still have light at the end of the tunnel.

Wandin have settled nicely now and are flag fav's in my opinion. Upwey have been wobbly of late but woke up on the weekend. With some injuries to key players can Monbulk hold on? Mt Eve are there to pounce on anyone who stumbles on the way home. Emerald now look gone. 3 games behind and a truck load of % with only 4 games to go. Need a miracle. How disappointing have Belgrave been this year? Have never seemed to get going. Goes to show how tight this comp is. Both Emerald and Belgrave only 12 months ago played finals now both are at the bottom with only a month to go

Wandin looking more ominous every week, can't see anyone getting close to them now. How many times can Mount Evelyn shoot themselves in the foot? Having lost last week to Healesville and to Warby this week, they now find themselves a game out of the five. Still a few twists to be played out in the final 3 rounds!

went up and watched the wandin machine roll passed Upwey with ease on the weekend, looking every bit the flag favourites. cant see how anyone is going to stop them.
Bit of a downer for wandin is there young reserves and 18's that crowd the pocket down the far end. seem to lift the wandin boys but is a bit disheartening to opposition players .

Upwey just getting a little back after their U/18's & Reserves have given out plenty from the hill at their home ground over the years. There are venues all around where you would expect a bit of banter with the likes of the hills of Wandin, Upwey & Mt Eve to name a few. You can guarantee of learning a few new words after playing at those grounds LOL

Wouldn't count on a flag just yet... Remember despite all the hot air and wind coming out of that place, that they crash and burn come finals. What have they won - just 1 final out of around 6 games over the last few years. Plenty of $$$ for no return. And the ferals over the fence don't get me started. Club must be proud of the great family culture up at that shithole!!!

Agree long time before they hand out the medallions. Seem to remember woori getting beaten by 20 goals in a final last year and winning a flag. But after watching them a few weeks ago wandin definately look the goods. We also had problems with the under 18's crew in the pocket at wandin, with robbo being abused as he got in the car after the game. Wandin pres said it would be dealt with obviously it hasn't. Great club wandin.

I guess it's good to see young blokes from a club fully supporting the seniors of the club who aren't even locals and being enthusiastic.
Can't be that bad of a culture down there if they support them .
