Yes and apparently I'm going to win the Lotto. The proof is in the pudding so to speak with the pitch, it was a road. Let's hope Adelaide is a more sporting wicket but I'm not betting on it.

Fine with me, either way I'd play him. However if we can get away with just 5 bats + Nevill, this test is the one.

All we want is what a test pitch should be. Early help for the bowlers, then a good deck to bat on before the bowlers take over again on days 4 and 5. Surely that's not too much to ask for.

Bingo.
Day 1: Tough for the first session and a half, before flattening out
Day 2: Starts to turn late, but flat
Day 3: Best for batting, some uneven bounce on occasions
Day 4 & 5: Spin comes into play and uneven bounce
A pitch where 350 is a great score is usually the best test match.
