Going by the commentary and from what I have heard from others; Upper Gully were absolutely terrible.

i did...and you are correct. bernie wanted no stupidity in the final term, no cards, no reports, and got just that. barks put them away in the premiership quarter and could afford to take the foot off the gas.
the ressies did not have the same luxury...and were very lucky to get across the line (although they were subject to some of the most atrociously biased umpiring i've seen in a long time).
in summary - very confident that the cup is heading to the heights in 2009.
