Only have ourselves to blame really we had an opportunity every week for the past month to go top and pretty much blown all of them.
As it stands though looks like the match on Easter Sunday against Wellington will be the decider whether we can win the plate or not and even if we do win that match we still have to probably win every other match including two away matches in Brisbane. Otherwise it looks like Wellington and Uncle Ernie are going to s**t it in from here on!! 4 of their next 5 games at home and the away game is against City.

I was thinking just this. We've lost the least and scored the most and haven't been top since about round 6.

Wellington away and double Brisbane are huge; but knowing us we'll win them and struggle in the others

That may be true, but its still no excuse for the number of goals we've conceded. Defence is too fragile and we give too many chances away, that's the real reason why we're not first.

Mentally Adelaide keep failing against us. The hurdle will only keep getting bigger too.

I also think we don't hold the ball well enough through midfield which places pressure back on the defense.

On a side note I think Ansell will get better and better now with more games though.
