I would expect Essendons membership to drop 10-15%in 2015.
I just can't see enough people committing this year with such ambiguity surrounding the team and it's ability to compete, not to mention the supporters total fatigue ATM. To grow membership you need supporters to have genuine hope on field. I might be wrong but I would say Essendon would be facing a bigger challenge in growing membership than any club in 2015.

My prefiction is that privately the club would be expecting a difficult 2015 and would know by now from it's post season survey that the renewal rate will slip more in 2015.

To thus end, once 2015 is done, starting with a full tilt at the draft / trade table, the club will embark on a major program to win back fans across every platform and re build the club again. 53,000 for me in 2015 for the Bombers. A bad result but it will be the catalyst fir mist likely the most fan engaged, open and inclusive club beyond 2015 as EFC tries to make it's supporters proud of it's club again.
