Universal Love 2015 Port Adelaide Buddy Draft

Hola,

with blaargh busy with the cruel mistress that is real life, I'm yet again in charge of the Buddy Draft. And despite being a year older and wiser I am hoping that this is going to create as much of a rabble as it did last time. In a pre-emptive move, I am officially starting the #rabblerabble hashtag.

The draft will commence on Thursday after the rookie and pre-season drafts.

For those players new to the game, each year a poster receives 2 buddies (either player or staff), who they are defend to the hilt and build up to the point of hero-status. For those who are too shy to post high numbers generally around the board, I understand. However, drafting and then going back to being a recluse isn't the point of this. Get around the board and create a storm about your buddies! 1 buddy is randomly assigned using random.org. The other buddy is taken in a draft, the order for which is also decided by random.org.

Last season there was more interest than players or staff, so I will again be running a secondary "rookie draft", where those who missed out on the initial draft class will have the opportunity to buddy 1st and 2nd year players at the club (trades inclusive). However, the rookie draft will not receive a randomly assigned buddy.

There will be 56 posters in the Main Draft (46 players + 10 staff).
