Just went and looked at the HT and WT for DS, DM and JK.
All are 183cms. tall. DM weighed 73kgs when drafted now 78. JK weighs 82kgs. DS weighs 74 kgs now.

Ive spoken to a very close contact of Dylan Stephens, we are basically a lock to get him at pick 6 after that pick exchange.

Have you spoken to the Sydney Swans recruiting manager? Cos believe it or not, he has a key that can pick that lock.

I would say players are aware of which clubs are interested in them.

Flanders and McAsey have been courted by the club just as much, if not more than Stephens. This is widely known.

For anyone to have certainty that we are drafting Stephens with our first selection that will almost definitely end up as Pick 7, they would need to know whether Hamish has Stephens higher on their board than both of these guys. This is not widely known, and certainly wouldn’t be known by anyone close to Stephens.

I would say players are aware of which clubs are interested in them.

Unless early picks, most clubs keep their cards close to their chest. Often comes as a surprise to a player as to which club recruited them... & not necessarily the one which appeared to show the most interest.

so somehow we are supposed to believe Norwood are staying under the salary cap when they look to be signing Douglas AND they just landed Ryan Bastinac from interstate. add to that guys who would have to be at the higher end of the pay scale like grigg, Talia etc and..well..something ain't adding up
