Welcome back to Zach Merrett's favourite award to win - The Essendon Bigfooty Board MVP. In fact, when we approached him (from the bushes outside his home) to let him know that he'd won the award last year, he screamed and ran away. Probably because he was so overwhelmed with pride.
This year, the winner receives a $25 BI-LO voucher and a box of expired Strawberry flavoured Dunk-a-Roos.
They also get the distinction of being an AFL player, getting paid ridiculously good money, and having the admiration (and occasional ire) of thousands of Bombers fans.

THE RULES
As you may well know, after every Essendon match in the AFL™ Toyota™ 2024™ Premiership™ Season™ there will be an MVP thread opened up where you will vote for who you thought were the standout players on the ground. The voting method is very simple. Following this template;
3. BEST ON GROUND
2. 2nd best
1. 3rd best
Votes will close around 6-7pm on Tuesday or thereabouts. Votes will be tallied and the top 3 vote-getters will be our top 3 players for that week.
PLEASE keep in mind that you need to clearly label who gets the 3 votes and so on, just to make it easier for the votes to be counted. Some of you weirdos make your own nicknames that make no sense. If your votes do not follow that format they may not be counted.
