Who are the best brothers to play the game?
It got me thinking of a couple that I think are underrated but definitely not the best of all time. I find it hard to pick off the top of my head even though I’m sure there are some obvious ones. Below are some that are good and a little underrated in my mind.

Andrew and David Swallow
Andrew 3 times best and fairest and captain.
David best and fairest, captain and games record holder.

Steve and Garry Hocking
Steve 199 games
Garry 4 b and f 4 AA multiple top 5 in Brownlow.

Syd Coventry & Gordon Coventry

Simon Madden & Justin Madden

Peter Burgoyne & Shaun Burgoyne

Some I can think of from WA:
Glenn and Allen Jakovich
Wally, Peter and Phil Matera
Jimmy and Phil Krakouer
David and Andrew Swallow
Jeremy and Mitch McGovern
Brad and Stephen Hill

Harry and Albert Collier.
Only brothers to have each won a Brownlow. They also played together in 6 Premiership teams, with Harry captain of the last two flags. Albert won 3 Best and Fairests, Harry won 2 plus captained the club. Probably puts them ahead of Gordon and Syd Coventry, who were team-mates of the Collier brothers.

cbf distinguishing the best.

Peter and Phillip Matera and Wally Matera played too. Not as good as Peter and Phillip.

Jackovich brothers were insanely good. Out of this world good. Allen Jackovich was a good bloke from all accounts. Giving young kids footies and stuff I heard.

Mark Stevens had a brother? The one that played for North and Adelaide?
Brad and Stephen Hill
Wakelins

I know there's more but I'll look later.

yeah needed another spoon of rice or three to think of the Jaman's. Post work out always need to fully replenish before brain storming.

Between them, Brett and Michael Voss won three premierships, a Brownlow, and had five AA appearances.

Jarman brothers were very good.
Jimmy and Phil are talked about like no other.

Levi and Will Ashcroft for the future also the King brothers could push for the title by career end.

Matera brothers had a huge impact as well.

Chris and Robbie Tarrant would be a very nice backline duo

Selwood's of the modern era

For nostalgia all 4 Danihers playing on the same day Round 22, 1990 is pretty bloody special - I don't know anyone who has the whole game in it's entirely and all 4 brothers played well (weren't making up the numbers)

Anthony at CHB 27 touches and 12 marks
Chris in the middle 24 touches
Neale in the forward pocket 3 goals 4 behinds
Terry at CHF 15 touches 7 marks and a goal

Harry and Albert Collier.
