Sunday 3rd of September 12:15pm at Adelaide Oval. Streaming on the AFL website/app.

SANFL finals cap: 16 AFL listed players + Sutcliffe + 5 SANFL listed players.

Pending the injury list: Visentini might be out with a quad, and Hugh Ferrari with a hammy.

The AFL side get a week off, so I expect our best 23 players will be rested and the rest play here.

Players that played AFL in Round 24 can't play.

Teakle could feature here. Dixon, Marshall and McKenzie are eligible but unlikely.

If we win this game, we'd play the loser of the Qualifying Final between Crows and Sturt the week after in the semi final.

Are there still rules on number of SANFL games played by the AFL players?

In particular I'm wondering if McKenzie can play.
Yes but not while the afl side is still competing. Once power are knocked out. If they get knocked out the rules of 3 Sanfl games after round 9 and a higher % of sanfl games compared to afl games kicks in.

"While Port’s AFL team remains active in the finals series, any AFL-listed player is permitted to play in SANFL finals except if they have lined up in Round 24 (including the activated substitute), in which case they cannot play in the SANFL Elimination Final."

This means Lord, Jonas and Evans can't play.

Which is ridiculous, particularly in the case of Evans. If most of your games have been played in the SANFL, it shouldn’t matter if you played the last game in the AFL.
